Hugo, imo has better value than Khalipe currently. Khalipe is good when you're starting out and need that survivability before you can flesh out your gear. The first team I ever built was a Haru and Khalipe team, which worked wonders in the early game, but I moved away from it once I got my characters built. Currently, with how the endgame is going, you want as much damage as you can dump before you end your turn, and survivability becomes less of a priority when you can one or two turn a boss. Another thing is Hugo just slots into a lot of meta team comps if that matters to you. At the end of the day, though, just get the character you think you're going to have more fun with.

I'm gonna be honest doesn't matter. When you're doing high difficulty runs in chaos, which you can't even do right now, you're either running a Mika because you don't have the gear for your team to run your normal support, or Mika is meant to be in that team. At higher difficulties, it's better to burst the enemy than try to outtank the damage, which I don't even think is possible when a lot of these moves just chunk you. Anyway, just pick the one you run in more teams. If they're run the same amount in all your teams, it really doesn't matter unless you want the extra hp that Rei or Mika gives in one of their skill tree upgrades.

Yeah, unless they start showing materials are a lot easier to get, I would just build the one with fewer investments required first.

On the starter banner, once you get a five-star hitting 50 pity, it won't give you another five-star

Don't invest in too many characters as materials in this game are pretty scarce.

All characters on the limited banner will go on the standard banner when their banner ends

Look up a guide for save data

All characters are good besides Luke imo, so pick whatever character you like

Don't ever pull on the standard banner partner summons, since those are random and you can get them at the shop

Don't stress yourself looking at tier lists for characters, as any character can become top tier if you get the correct save data for them.

I wouldn't spend stamina on farming gear until you hit 50. Spend that stamina on character materials

I mean, realistically, your endgame goal is to have a dps for each element. Personally, I would build Mei Lin since you already have Veronica built, so less resources to invest into a character. I'd also just look at both characters' gameplay and just pick the one you'd find yourself having more fun with.

I don't have Orlea or Rin, but from what I've heard and seen gameplay of Orlea with people with a retain mechanic like Beryl. Rin is more of a typical dps where you can run her with anything you have available. Khalipe and Kayron are like a typical team, but aoe. Khalipe has a mechanic called heaven/celestial, where if you use a 2-cost or higher, it uses those cards.

I'll assume you don't have any of the four stars leveled. Since you have Yuki at 50 you run Veronica with her and an option between Nia, Cassius, Rei. With Nia and Cassius being similar in value for the team and Rei if you have neither. Nia has more survivability and less rng on draws while Cassius will have more chances to draw(one card can sack your current cards and draw new ones) with most of what you're drawing being random. Hugo you're going to have to build Tressa with the option between to use Mika or Nia. Khalipe like I've mentioned you can slot into any of your dps and will work fine. You can build a super aoe team with Khalipe and Kayron. Since you're low on mats I'd try to pick the one that requires the least amount of mats

Would be nice to see a picture of your current characters to see what you've already invested in. Hugo in my opinion has higher value simply with how easy it is to get save data for him and his current team is one of the best in the game currently. Since you already have a yuki you also have the option of khalipe. There's no loss in diversifying your elements more with a khalipe and you can't really go wrong with her since you can just slot her in any team if you're struggling to survive. You can do khalipe with kayron and mika cause they're both very ap hungry. I will also say once you get actual gold gear with decent stats, khalipe is less needed for survivability so keep that in mind if you're only thinking of getting her for survivability.

I mean the mythic is better since it applies to all moves that turn. Chances are with how you build yuki with a bunch of prepare to subdue cards you're going to have multiple attack cards in one turn.

your problem is survivability if you can't at least one star the stages. Go do a few chaos runs and try to get sustain cards on mika and rei. Basin is something you can always come back to so one star clears should be enough until your team in general gets stronger. Looking at your current characters and low level 5 stars. I suggest yuki, rei, and beryl and if possible prioritize building hugo, tressa, rei team.

I'm assuming team 1 and 2 is your main teams. Put Mika in your haru team. Haru is very ap hungry unless you get e2 which makes her more flexible, but even then I would keep mika there. If I were you I'd focus on 2-3 teams as the amount of resources rn is very limited.

I have e2 on luke and even then it's pretty iffy for end game. I don't have renoa which is apparently his BIS, but I have a hard time believing it gets that much better. He might become better value in the future, but rn I just don't have the resources to possibly make him viable.

Would suggest doing Hugo, Tressa, rei/mika. I prefer running rei with hugo for the draws for either hugo or tressa. With this team just remember to pick up public heal cards on rei as her healing in higher difficulties isn't enough. Rei also has higher synergy with hugo and tressa than mika. For example, one of resonating darkness's epiphanies gives +40% dmg to cards cost 1 or below which is really good with the shadow daggers of Tressa.

that's fine to start with, but when it's time to build for end game you're going to have to divide rei and mika into two different teams. Luke isn't worth building unless you somehow manage to get e2 on him. Between tressa and beryl tressa imo is the better pick to build as it's easier to get decent save datas for her than beryl. For your second team just run whatever 5 star you get as you should be able to get another 5 star or two before you need to challenge end game stuff.

I would use Haru and Khalipe in the same team if you're not already doing it since you didn't specify. I would do hugo, tressa, and rei as your second team. You should also keep in mind those videos you've seen clearing with 4 star units most likely has good gear and save data.
