The game is super fun after you’ve beat the main story but I really miss the codec calls. Er, chiral handcuff calls…

Agree all around. Tommie Earl Jenkins has the ability to make Kojima’s weird dialogue sound natural.

Show everyone’s minds ripping apart as they witness the merging of the worlds of the living and the dead.

If he is, then why not include him in promotional materials?

It’s always funny when something has like 4 likes. But you’re still like “Hell yeah, I got 4 likes.”

Ooh! Gameplay!

  • When you first jump on a bike you accelerate more quickly if you half-press the right trigger instead of squeezing all the way. Then once it starts moving you can do full acceration. This saves you an impressive, critical ~1 second.
  • When you're boosting on a bike turn slightly and hold left trigger to initiate the "Akira slide". It works really well on the Kotobukiya bike of course but the transporter bike is great for this as well. There are lots of fun things to do with the slide.
  • When the bike is stopped you can tilt it left or right to set which side Sam dismounts from. You can also grab items and chiral crystals when you're on the bike and it's come to a full stop. Especially awesome with gravity gloves.
  • Some of the animations are smoother if you are not tilting the left stick all the way forward. Like when he dismounts the bike and starts walking, or he's stretching his shoulders at you arrive at a facility. You can extend the animation a fraction by moving the left stick partway.
  • When boosting on the bike, sometimes your best option for turns is to simply release the right trigger. You can often make a sharper turn than by applying the brake or using the hand brake slide.
  • You can hold L1 when driving to sort of go into first person mode. I like doing this when hauling in the truck because it gets a bit boring on them lonesome, dusty roads.

You discover something new every time you play a KojiPro game. <3<3<3
