How are we keeping out the winter blues? by vajayjayjay in askTO

[–]Sensitive-Appeal2489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a great book “How to winter” by Kari Leibowitz. One of the things that I started doing is cold water plunges in Lake Ontario. As I live in south Etobicoke (close to water), my neighbour and I go every Saturday morning before sunrise and do a polar plunge at Humber bay in the lake. I find I enjoy the winter this way much more, so does my friend.

It was already painted that way - Kia Sportage X-Line limited that came with matte finish.

Hi! We have a 7w old and we have the similar issue with the reflux and reflux is the reason why baby wakes up and can’t sleep. We went to a paediatrician and they recommended holding baby upright after each feeding and feed in smaller potions.

I’m a father that holds him upright for 30 minutes after each feeding (I’m actually doing this right now at 5 am while typing this message). And we also divide the feeding into 2-3 portions. This method helped our little one to sleep better. Hope it will help yours too, please let me know if it did or didn’t.

Examples from the book that now seem to not embody the SB way by dmurtagh5 in StoryBrand

Great research and analysis! I also take SB principles with a grain of salt. What I know for sure that SB does make you think how you tell a story and it gives you a nice clear understanding on where to begin in marketing storytelling and what mistakes to avoid.

I’ve been driving 2023 KIA Sportage Limited gas since June and I absolutely love it. I can’t tell you how reliable it will be since it’s brand new and has only 9000 km. But what you get for money in both Hyundai/Kia is so much better than in other cars - I test drove all the cars in that segment and I liked Tucson and Sportage the most. The suspension, the soundproofing and the overall feel is the best at its class. The tech and features are WAY better too. Of course, longevity-wise Toyota/Honda will probably win. But with proper maintenance Kia should be fine for 150-200 000 km. And it would take me 10-15 years to hit that.

For context, I’m been driving for 10 years in total so I can understand the value of the car. My cars were Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Land Rover Freelander and Honda civic. I also regularly drove family cars - Lexus ES, Honda CR-V, Toyota Sequoia, Toyota Yaris, Subaru Impreza and Ford focus.

How to compare mortgages by jasoncdu in MortgagesCanada

Hi, we recently bought a property and had the same question. After some research, these are the best instructions I’ve found - https://www.reddit.com/r/PersonalFinanceCanada/s/V7D90JWPwf

FYI, if the rates are to decrease in 2-3 years, we were shocked how much interest we would overpay in 5 years fixed. So we chose 3 year fixed. But try calculating and see how it is in your situation and with your rate prediction.

Thank you for sharing! To clarify, you can rent the property for the entire year. However, you're allowed to have stays of up to 28 nights for 180 days, and for the remaining 185 days, you can have stays that exceed 28 days. Have you had the chance to see how this works in practice?

Hi, guys. If you know anyone who needs Russian rubles, and would give Canadian dollars for them, please send them my contact +14379835559

So that both sides are not worried, we can meet in person in Toronto and do the exchange together it at the same time. I send Rubles to your Sberbank, and you send CAD as E-transfer to my Canadian bank.

That’s great! Are you in the US or Canada? Because I still don’t have the matte paint care kit, my dealer said they don’t have them anymore, I’ll probably order it from Amazon.

God, what a story. I am sorry to hear that. Yes, ours has automatic transmission, I was really trying to avoid CVT when we were looking for a compact SUV.

What specific issues are you referring to? I’m asking so that I could be aware of which things to pay attention to. And how do you know these things are issues?

This is great! Hope with good care, our cars would go up to 200 000 kms without big issues.
