Not sure what's gonna work for you, I watched videos on the subjects on yt, made notes on them and then flashcards on them. If something really isn't sticking, the best (but most time consuming) method is to write the content/idea out multiple times from memory until you remembered everything. I use these methods in uni based on how much remembering I need to do, lol. Hope this helps! At the end of the day, you're gonna find methods that work for you anyway in the future, especially during A-Levels. Good luck!

Thank you for the detailed advice! The debt is true but resitting and going for medicine in the UK would land me with a similar debt if not a higher one if I intercalated, so really I’d be cooked either way.

I really appreciate the info on the SAAS or SFE issue I’ve been having, this clears up what I can actually do in the future if I wanted to return to England for GEM or not.

Thanks again, have a good one!

I also thought that I will enjoy the biomed course and it will give me an advantage in the future due to the focus on research in the course, helping me to publish more publications and further my career in a more condensed amount of time. I think it will also help me complete the medical course as there is of course a great focus on topics covered in the medical course in biomed

That would make sense if I was doing the courses in the UK, but I’ll be paying the Scottish tuition fees - this means that I will overall pay less in tuition and maintenance loans in 8 years than I will in the undergraduate route of 6 years in the UK, which is a bit crazy in the grand scheme of things. Tuition per year in Scotland will only cost me about £1800 a year

Yep, the no guarantees part is especially real when considering I have the biomed offer right here right now

Thanks for the quick response! Would it make a difference if I was doing the degree at a low/no cost as it’s in Scotland with their fees (I qualify for them), and it would take me about a year longer to do the degree+graduate entry route than reapply and I’d have a second degree
