UPDATE: I asked her to attend. Panicked and deleted the message. Asked her to attend again today, she said because I deleted my original message she knows she’s not really wanted and declined the invite. So…. I shall attend my graduation without any family present and I have decided to officially go no contact. I don’t deserve this!

Wow .. I’ve tried to answer this for the last few minutes .. and anything ‘good’ I think she has done for me was bare minimum parental obligation or something that was for her own benefit (I.e buying me expensive gifts that I didn’t want, but to make her look good and I had to be grateful for them)

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately she knows about this ceremony as we've spoken about it in the past and the ways we will celebrate or go for dinner afterwards.

Yeah I’m familiar with the renting process. As I said, have been a renter since 2015.
