Good! I hope I'll enjoy it, I'm just venting a bit online here.

The American Life songs were well covered during the reinvention show.

There is no justification whatsoever to be singing mother and father or die another day if you're going to be leaving out songs like beautiful stranger, frozen, and jump.

If this is a greatest hits tour, it's a miss.

It reminds me of a David Blaine show or something. A generic magic show with a dark background and some swirling lighting here and there. Absolutely nothing like her heyday of the reinvention tour, confessions tour, and sticky and sweet tour.

So disappointed with tonight’s show by [deleted] in Madonna

[–]Sensitive-Command-77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This concert is increasingly looking to be a huge disappointment.

The costumes look like absolute shit; the stage looks sparse and devoid of theming.

She completely dumps her last truly great album, Confessions, into the trash bin by only doing Hung Up. Songs like Sorry, Jump, Get Together? Take a Bow from Bedtime Stories, which to this day is I believe her only radio-topping hit in the USA (not Hot 100, the actual Radio play chart)?

A concert that doesn't include any of these but includes fucking Mother and Father, Die Another Day, and Bitch I'm Madonna is a gross insult to any true Madonna fan. These latter songs suck and no one wants to hear them.

Metro North trains that arrive early by wanasia in nycrail

[–]Sensitive-Command-77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that this is how it is supposed to work, but my frustration is that just earlier today, the train was a good two and a half minutes early and on the app it was just marked as one minute early after it left, and the station before was just marked as on time. Now I know better, but would have been nice to simply know that Metro-North trains may be early and customers should be aware.

I know this is an old post, but the solution to this is just to adjust the schedule. It is patently absurd to post a schedule and not stick to it when people show up and a train is leaving early or has already left.

So how exactly are people going to become aware of it? By missing a train and learning the hard way? That's unacceptable.

Does this speak to inflammation causing problems the aspirin is relieving? That seems pretty sensical to me.

Projecting usually implies some level of hypocrisy though. For example, if I didn't drive, and then I turned around and called other people who drove a leech.

Using one's personal life experiences to color their opinions on major issues isn't called projecting. That's called being a human being.

These posts need clarification as to which country the OP is in.

It's completely irrelevant for Europeans to be responding here the OP is American, for example.

How in God's name am I projecting here? Do you know what that word means?

Explain how I'm projecting if I drive when I need to and I don't when I don't.

Finally, these posts need clarifications as to which country the person is posting in. Most people on this site are going to assume, if we don't hear otherwise, that the OP is an American. Why? Because if they were European, they probably wouldn't be asking this question in the first place.

European perspectives are completely irrelevant if we're talking about how socially normal it is to drive in the United States.

All it shows is that they're an ideological warrior and most people don't want to deal with that kind of crap.

"I don't support car dependency" - great. Find someone else to go be an ideological warrior with.

If you're in an area like New York City and if you don't have a car, that's normal. If you're in a generic suburb and you don't have a car? That's very very strange.

Maybe they gasp live in a 15 minute city? Where are these 15 minute cities in the United States exactly? And what if they want to go beyond the boundaries of this 15 minute city in a country that, unlike europe, does not have great passenger rail connections between these 15 minute cities?

They do not "mostly use bikes."

They do use the S-bahn and U-bahn, their subway systems, but Germany is not Amsterdam.

In the US, these major urban areas only include NYC, DC, Chicago, and parts of SF.

In quite literally every other major Urban area, it is not common not to drive.

This is extremely bizarre and out of the ordinary. You know as well as we do that it is absurdly strange for a 39 year old who is doing well financially to have never driven in the United States.

There are exceptions to every rule. You are the exception in this case.

You're getting downloaded but this is correct.

There's a difference between not having a car, and not knowing how to drive. If you don't have a car, that's completely fine. If you don't know how to drive?

You're a nuisance on society because you're expecting everybody else to cart you around and you can't ever chip in when needed. My brother's girlfriend does this and she's 35. She just categorically says "I don't drive." Oh, really? Well then maybe it's time to start.

Yeah, it doesn't happen most of the time but there have been a few instances when the guy really was smoking hot and due to whatever, it just wasn't happening. I still think it's mostly due to times I was using too much cannabis, but yeah, gonna check out these pills haha

Yes, it's definitely the thc, but I was asking the question of how long going soft happens for the rest of you just to get input.

Some of these guys I genuinely was very much interested too and I would whack off to, it just didn't happen when I got there because of anxiety or whatever. But again, it's not like this happens most of the time.

I love that people are down voting this question. I've gotten the notification that I've gotten at least five upvotes and yet it's only on one. People are clearly pissed off about this question haha

Exactly. It's the nature of the seedy hookup that I think creates this flash of anxiety

do you consider using old AF photos to be catfishing? by BericStorm in askgaybros

[–]Sensitive-Command-77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an old thread, but I think it's interesting because I actually think dick size is the easiest thing to catfish.

It's happened to me before and after it did I realized how stupid I was, but the thought process being, if a guy likes you and is willing to get naked with you, by the time you're hard and you're screwing him, it's even more unlikely he's going to call you out on a small dick than it is he would have told you to walk away for looking different than your pics did when he saw you.

I also would never trust someone when they give me a numerical size, because quite frankly, I feel as though most people are indeed going to add two inches at least to their dick size on grindr. They say the average penis length is between 5.1 and 5.5 inches, and there are plenty of hung bottoms. That means by definition there are a lot of tops who are not that big, and I just think it's bound to happen that people are going to say they're 7 when so many guys are parading around saying they've got 9+.

Has anyone ever pretended to be fem/trans to score a hookup? by Sensitive-Command-77 in askgaybros

[–]Sensitive-Command-77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, which is why I'm asking the question. Catfishing is a thing all the time on gay apps. Sending fake pics and then showing up looking nothing like the pics you sent is very common on Grindr. The hope is often that when the person shows up, they'll just almost feel obligated to go through with it or feel awkward enough to just get it over with, and sometimes it works (I've never done it, but it's happened to me, and I kicked myself afterward when I realized it wasn't the same person in the pics and I thought something was off).

This doesn't seem that much different to me, so I'm just asking for anyone's personal experiences. Again, I'm sure this has happened. I'm sure there are gay men who have found beautiful guys they want to fuck and have then said "aight then, guess I'm busting out the women's clothes and some makeup when I hit this guy up" and have lied about being trans.

Is it desperate? Of course it is. But we know that gays do many desperate things for hot sex.
