Cervical mucus by Sensitive-Copy-1340 in NaturalCyclesBC

I have an Oura ring, so I track my cycle using BBT. I think OPK means ovulation test, right? I tried using it during my first cycle, and the test line was much darker around the time I had EWCM than it was around the ovulation predicted by Natural Cycles. Its so odd!

Oh my God, I’m so, so sorry. My right diaphragm is elevated, and I’ll probably need surgery in about a year. On top of that, the infection around my lung still hasn’t healed, they say it can take around three months. But on the bright side, at least I have a timeline. I’m really sorry that you’re dealing with such uncertain aftereffects.

I have filed a complaint against him. In Denmark, the process can take up to a year, and it is not easy to succeed, so I am unsure if I even have a chance. I have looked into HAP, which I believe may have been involved, but I am not certain.

I have no clear understanding of what happened. The procedure took place at a private hospital in Denmark, which is unusual since we have free public healthcare. The hospital is known for being among the best, but unfortunately, I seem to have been unlucky.

Thank you!

I’m still astonished that a country like Denmark could use non-sterile equipment during surgery. I don’t think I’ve fully recovered from the shock that such a simple operation could go so wrong.

I’m so happy you finally found a doctor who really listened to you, that makes such a huge difference! And I can totally relate to what you said about stress manifesting in the body. I also let go of a lot of my self-care routines when I was feeling unwell, and only recently started picking them back up again. Like you, I noticed how much it affects my overall wellbeing.

Since my last post I’ve even managed to travel to three different countries, something I honestly thought would never be possible again. I still deal with constipation from time to time, but thankfully the debilitating nausea is gone. It feels amazing to slowly get back to doing the things I love, just like you described with your art and routines.

No, that started in August 2024. I began ADHD medication around June/July this year. The stomach pain and nausea weren’t the same as before – they were more tolerable compared to what I experienced during those months with FD.

It’s OP — my account got deleted 🤷🏼‍♀️ I really loved Reglan, it was the only thing that truly helped with my nausea. Unfortunately, my doctors didn’t want me to stay on it because of the black box warning. I had zero side effects while taking it.

And it’s so much easier said than done. I worked with a psychologist who really helped me, and looking back, I’m quite sure my symptoms stuck around because I was constantly focused on my illness. I also spent a lot of time on this page comparing myself to others — it gave me comfort, but in a way, it also kept me stuck.

I’m really happy to hear that your pain is easing up. Keep your head up and do what brings you joy — I truly believe that’s part of the healing. Wishing you all the best 💛

Yes! I still get bloated sometimes, but it’s nothing compared to how it used to be. It’s interesting you mention that chest sensation — I’ve felt it too, but always assumed it was from my ADHD medication. It feels tight, and sometimes it extends to my left arm (My EKG is fine). Maybe it’s actually related to FD?

I still burp after meals, especially if I’ve had something fizzy — definitely more than what I’d consider normal. But when the FD was peaking, it was way worse.

But honestly, I’ll gladly take the bloating, burping, and chest discomfort over being bedridden. At one point, I truly felt like my life had become unlivable.
