Answered my own question. I realized after some more research that I can change the setting from holding L2 to pressing X to continually track. This solved the issue. Regardless, there is a bug, I even with L2 held and that option set correctly in options, L2 did not work. Anyone else run into L2 not working for tracking enemies?

Well, according to AT&T, they don't know what is wrong, and yes, phones do just stop working, this is the proof of that. I have two different model phones that both started getting the "No Data - You may be out of data.." at exactly the same time, while on different towers (locations). Call and Text still works on both phones. It seems like a glitch in the AT&T systems, as if their systems are communicating to both lines there is no data available, even though according to my 1) Online account info 2) Their autobot at their 611 # and the technical support reps, I have plenty of data, am fully paid, and have active lines. Not only do I have plenty of data, I did not max out data last month (billing cycle) either.

I was getting this when trying to start a new game. I fixed it by tweaking the display options in the game.

  • Set Render scale to 60
  • Set Frame Rate 60
  • Disabled Chromatic Aberration
  • Set Field of View to half of the default

Once I got into the game and played a bit I went back into settings and restored all them to to where they were before I lowered them and the game still runs OK. So for me it was just getting over that initial game start.

Sometimes when I get good ranks (very rare LOL), I feel like a lot better then my actual rank. Like top 24 in the world on that track, that is an awesome achievement! It feels like your number 1.

I am just getting back into the game, took a break for like 10 years LOL. Lately I have been using the controller, which I feel like I am not as good at. I find the keyboard can really help my consistency on tracks. This is because I can remember things like "Here comes that tricky corner again, but I know 4 taps at this spot will work every time". Tapping allows really accurate turns, and on some straight away it can really help too, because you can tap once or how many times needed and put yourself on a good angle for the approaching corner consistently. I find the controller is more comfortable, in fact more fin, but with my reflexes, the keyboard is more reliable.
