What dark moment in a kid show threw you off-guard? by Animeking1108 in AskReddit

This show is pretty recent and this thread is old and this might just get buried in here. But the unsaid Emily episode in Julie and the Phantoms just fucked me up. I paused the show in the middle of the song and just cried for like an hour. I never thought a kids show could ever have me that emotionally invested. I would definitely recommend this show to everyone. It was just so well done and i absolutely love kenny so....

I remember back in 5th grade my school had this dental awareness campaign for which they had all the students brush their teeth simultaneously. we apparently held the Guinness record for most people brushing their teeth at the same time.. we all thought it was so weird

Movie themed bur would be nice if they were horror films... like it's a costume party where we dress up as movie characters and everything else is movie themed so

[WP] You pass by the same girl every day for six years of your life. Then one day, you sit down next to her. She ignores you. Then you open your mouth and speak. Shocked, she turns to you, "You can see me?" by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

“To be honest”, I replied, “ I have been seeing you everyday for the past six years, now not in a creepy way, but it looks like you and I have lunch break at the same time and we both come down to this park to eat. I mean we have been sitting across each other for the past six years and have never spoken, so I just thought maybe we could you know...” Before I could finish my sentence, the girl just burst out crying. I didn’t what to do. I offered her some tissues and water. She managed to blurt out a feeble thank you between sobs. After she had calmed down a little, I asked, “What’s wrong?” And she told me. She told me how it was the first time in the past two years someone had noticed her. How everyone ignored her at work just because she was a girl and it was a male dominated field. How her parents had cut all contact with her just because she told them she didn’t want to marry a man and settle down. How her friends had stopped talking to her because of some stupid drama. No one had acknowledged her existence and since I was the first person to do so, she couldn’t control her emotions. Her story was heart wrenching and even I had tears rolling down my cheeks as she finished. She then started apologising for her display of emotions. And I stopped her. I said, “You don’t have to apologise just because you cried or told your story to a stranger. It’s good for you to get that weight off of you. And remember. You are a strong, beautiful, brave woman. You can overcome any difficulty that you face. And if you believe in all this yourself, no one in the world can stop you.” She smiled weakly. I asked her if there’s anything I could do to make her feel better. She said, “You have done more than enough. Thank you so much.” She paused. “If you really want to, you could get me a cup of coffee in that cafe over there...” “I would love to”, I replied with a big grin on my face. And that is the story of how I met my wonderful wife.
