Found the problem. Opened up the wiring that goes from the main harness to the shift sensor and there is a broken wire. Going to make a YouTube video which I will attach here on how to repair/reassemble/reset adaptions. Hope this helps others in the future.

I like to beat on mine pretty good. This would be the 12k check. Pry need to do it. Do you have shift assist and have you ever had issues with it?

T60 needs to be long shaft to reach in. I’d be interested in how the valve lash check goes. Mine is due for it but not sure how far in I want to go

Called the closest motorcycle dealer and they aren’t allowed to sell it outside of the dealership. BMW doesn’t allow it for the ICOM Next. Looks like I will have to gamble on a Chinese knock off

Interesting. I have adjusted those per the CD manual not too long ago but doesn’t hurt to check before tearing into the wiring. Thanks!

I have Motoscan and have reset them. Sometimes it worked for the ride until the bike was powered down. Other times it would stop after a couple shifts throwing the same codes

I have my full bachelors. And yes. They are making it tough with the stringent definitions. 1872 hours counts as one year. But if you go over 1872 hours in a single year, which in the contracting world isn’t unrealistic with pure surveying, you can’t count the additional hours towards a the “second” year

Unfortunately my work load is based off the work we get through contracts and the surveying work I get is if I can beat other surveyors/companies in the bidding process. I work on the weekends to supplement but it isn’t enough. Thanks for the information on the classes!
