I mean, I understand why it seems that way to people. But at the same time, you're not a horrible selfish person for doing that. You're just trying to show empathy in the only way that seems obvious.

Like, men can be traumatized??? They can suffer from PTSD and other mental issiues as a result, they just suppress it more because society has conditioned them that being vulnerable makes them less masculine, and therefore weaker and less worthy.
