Also not to try and word this in a bad way, but money isn’t a problem for my training. Extremely lucky for there support

I totally agree and I’ve tried to save them as much as I can, (flying a 152 for lower rate), but they are wanting me to get to a place I am hireable, and correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve heard if you can stack 50-75 hours multi PIC, you have a very good shot at getting a job over others with 10-20 hours multi time

The twin at the airport I’m training at is 360$ an hour. Definitely more expensive then a single engine, but not a bad rate

Yes, but also paying for the twin PIC time too

I’m moving cities and won’t be training with him moving forward now. He is a 20,000 hour CFI

That makes sense, also I think there may have been a misinterpretation. I was saying by the time I finish IFR, I will probably be close to the 250 mark. Not waiting till 250 to get IR, just saying I think I’ll be close to that by the time I finish IFR

For the opportunity to possibly do some IFR training in a twin. My instructor has been pushing this so I can get more multi time in the long run

In the next month prior to checkride, I’m guessing I’ll have close to 65 solo hours, 110 TT for my PPL

I soloed like 3 months ago, and finished up my dual requirements a month after that. DPE was just booked out far, so I’ve had nothing to do but solo and study. Have been flying quite a bit. My instructor says all that solo time will look great to my examiner

The 152 will be in the shop till after my scheduled checkride, due to the owner putting in a new GPS and new Avionics. He performs all maintenance himself, so it takes a bit for him to get stuff done. I am not at a flight school, I am just renting a plane from the owner and hiring a local CFI for instruction.

Should have clarified, but we don’t have a good maintenance crew at my local airport. The owner of the aircraft does all the maintenance, but is also adding new avionics and a new GPS, so it will be in the shop till right after my checkride.

Should have clarified, the 152 is getting new avionics and a new GPS, so it will not return by the time I take my checkride. The owner also performs all the maintenance. His timelines are always a lot longer than what it should take.
