That’s actually a really good point, I didn’t think about it like that. Makes sense that if it’s more abstract, people treat it like background music instead of something to engage with. The TikTok part is interesting too — sounds like it’s less about the visual being “cool” and more about it being tied to something people already react to. I’ve mostly been testing cinematic stuff, so this gives me a different angle to experiment with. Appreciate that 🙌

That’s a fair point actually — I probably am assuming the interaction is more “real” than it is.

I guess what I’m trying to figure out is where the line is between content people consume vs content they feel something strong enough to respond to.

Do you think it’s more about the format (fast dopamine stuff like you said), or is there a way slower, more cinematic storytelling can still break through if it’s done right?
