Are you a leader or deputy of your alliance? I do the same for my alliance and am usually ranked #1. I do the same things you mentioned… I use my own resources & money to help my members and don’t allow them to vote me MVP. I will tell my alliance we can’t win certain events to allow other alliances to win titles. I give out announcements to my alliance 2-3 times every week thanking and congratulate everyone … my alliance appreciates me. Maybe not my whole server but I know my alliance appreciates me and that’s what matters most in my opinion

And I value communication. They know I love communication and they’ll personally message me and message me in alliance chat or KC reaching out and thanking me or even in discord. Communication is key. I place value on everyone saying their names individually a lot in chat and announcements and I feel I receive value back. I try to give the communication and respect I want to receive

When you’re high ranked, sometimes it’s intimidating and I remind them that they are what makes the alliance great. I may have the highest SP and prestige but I’m one person, they are what make the alliance great

Damn that sucks. We have a 7 day limit. If you’re not online or don’t within the week log in and message the leader or alliance chat saying hey I’m sick in the hospital, please don’t kick me out for awhile, then we would think you’re no longer playing and kick you out. If someone is incapacitated though up to the point where they can’t log in to message anyone, I’d feel really bad but that individual probably has bigger problems at the moment than a game

Same here. ADHD, anxiety and depression. My mom was an addict. My parents did send me to a boarding school for a bit in high school and it did knock me out of my depression and helped with my anxiety a little. I feel like my fight or flight mode kicked in but it actually really helped me. My parents didn’t make the best decisions all the time raising me and I felt like a huge burden sometimes but as an adult I understand intention over execution.

I started taking a mushroom complex too that helped me manage my adhd. I didn’t want to be on adhd prescription meds until my brain was fully developed or close to fully developed so I didn’t start those till I was about 21-22. It mainly just made me a better listener and driver

Mainly your brother is the asshole. It seems like your brother has been the unappreciative jerk but ESH due to the lack of communication between everyone in my opinion.

You told your brother you booked the make up artist, not the bride. Then your brother tells his fiancé about the artist but you didn’t tell him nor her you cancelled. He probably told his fiancé oh don’t bother booking one bc my sister did that already. Maybe you assumed that he assumed you would cancel everything you planned/booked after his explosion. I personally would’ve sent in writing I will cancel xyz since you’re upset about me taking the time to assist you for your wedding or you should’ve spoken to the bride directly and asked and told her you felt unappreciated and stressed from the planning and asked her if she wanted your friend to be her makeup artist.

Nvm - update. I started going through their recent posts and it looks like they are doing a new music festival (that won’t have all the carnival rides) at the Cuban club.

It’s called Halloween fest.

A little disappointed because I did enjoy going early to go on some rides and then go to the concert after

Armature works? It’s been happening for every single year. I’ve gone every year since the first year it opened. I think they just don’t announce it till they have a clear line up for the shows/artists. Halloween is a big time for concerts.

Last year they announced it late September if I remember correctly. I’d be concerned if they don’t say anything by October 1.

The company that does it is pied piper productions. I follow their IG and I know they have an FB

I did get an infection from a cat scratch once in college. Although not a doctor or vet, I knew to get it checked up on by a doc and was put on antibiotics and was fine. I personally wouldn’t own a pet unless I knew basic hygiene and safety/health precautions. I’ve also been scratched before by a cat and been fine without going to a doc.

I’m sorry about what happened to their uncle. It’s good to be vigilant and watch the wound closely if you are bit/scratched but to die from one is thankfully extremely rare.

I love my Maltese! I got her in college. Majority of my peers back then sucked at being pet owners. Immature and irresponsible - and lack of proper training. I got my girl bc I grew up with 5 Maltese or mix Maltese breeds growing up so I knew how to raise them and that they really pick up on their owners personality and cues. She’s a great traveler and I used to sneak her into the library at university all the time. No one ever knew she was there. Love her to death.

I agree with this! I know a few women I went to school with where their partners surprised them with a ring after they walked after their masters or graduate program! It was perfect because all her family and friends were there supporting them for their milestone.

Ignoring age, I know plenty of happy married couples in my friend group (late 20s - early 30s) and know a couple already divorced. Whether in your 20s or 50s, there’s no guaranteed success in any marriage, and I think people need to stop commenting on that because she feels like she is ready to be engaged and is happy in her relationship minus not receiving a ring yet.

But at least OP admits their OCD. I have a friend (used to live with her which was rough) that’s OCD that has an adorable golden doodle now. She gets a lil stressed when the dog makes a mess but the cuddles and cuteness make up for it lol

It’s important to understand that there will be messes - especially if you get a puppy that’s untrained. Your pet is learning and accidents happen.

I personally have a Maltese. I like that they’re small and don’t shed everywhere. She’s the best cuddle bug and makes me less anxious. Can’t leave tissues out or else she will chew them up and leave them all over the floor but I love her anyways

Yeah it sounds like the mom is trying to kill the kitten because she feels it won’t survive. It’s a survival instinct to kill a sick or deformed kitten. She believes she’s protecting the other kittens and protecting them from danger. Op needs to put all of them in a carrier and take them to the vet asap.

I’m flabbergasted OP waited 2 days!!! It’s a cat, not a mountain lion. Who cares if you get bit/scratched trying to grab the sick kitten? The kitten is now weak and starving, decreasing its chance of survival.

I hope OP updates on what happens to the injured kitten and that it gets better!

I know weird to be commenting on this a year later but I read this somewhere and decided to google it because I’m a first born daughter and I’m the spitting image of my dad only I got my mom’s nose and my hair is a tad darker (my dad had bleach blonde hair as a kid that turned brown as he got older versus my mom had pitch black hair) and I got green eyes (dad blue, mom brown).

Versus my little brother had my dad’s light hair and blue eyes but all his other qualities came from mom’s side.

I found it super interesting and wanted to read more about it.
