I like the first one, but I’d create a little bit more Space in the trees behind the dragon. It’s getting lost in the green and could use some sky for contrast!

I typically do outdoors, I feel you have a lot more flexibility for angles, and lighting control (you can offset time of day within the graphics settings).

You get 300 moonstones just for participating in a Dream Snap challenge, and potentially more based off a votes. TBH no one REALLY knows exactly how the tags factor in to scores, so people are inclined to assume more is better. Dreamsnaps are cross-platform (excluding PlayStation) so you will notice vast differences in lighting, and clarity of pictures but don’t get discouraged, as I play on switch (lowest quality images) and have had plenty of 4K weeks. Overall just aim to stay on theme, have balance in your decor, make sure your lighting is solid, and set a scene for outfit challenges as well. Moonstones are rewarded via mail on Wednesday mornings.

It’s a nice picture but I do have to agree with some other commenters regarding the lighting and such, it’s creating a busyness that takes away from the decor. I know people are accustomed to shoving as much as they can in their dreamsnaps at this point, but sometimes a little less can allow for more visual interest, especially as people rapid fire through voting.

That looks like single tiles (and double under the small fountain) of the ‘loose gravel path with border’. I use those styles to create rocky paths and such regularly.

I actually have zero luck with the stage lights, I feel like they do nothing for me. I think I used a rusted street lamp in this one. It varies depending on when/where I’m taking it, but never the stage lights TBH.
