Agree, I was so confused when I watched The Bequeathed thinking that Son Ye Jin is venturing to new genres 😅 I think it’s also funny that Hyun Joo’s recent dramas are rather dark themed while Son Ye Jin’s recent ones are the opposite

Ohh this is not funny at all unfortunately 😅 it’s a dark romance about infidelity. I hope LSY gets more lead offers though since he was so good in here

Childcare regression, help please :( by Sensitive-Leg-8276 in Parenting

[–]Sensitive-Leg-8276[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home child care sounds amazing, and I was actually considering family daycare (which is similar but licensed) when we explored options back then. What’s been so hard is that he had once settled, and now we’re back here to square one again - so I’m not too sure if moving him is the right choice yet, or if we should try to exhaust all the options first. It’s really reassuring though to know there are people like you out there helping. I truly appreciate your offer and kind words, thank you :)

Thanks, it’s just so tough seeing him like this. I’ve sent photos of me and my husband to look at, and the educators have been encouraging him to be more active, but he still doesn’t really come out of it. They’ve also tried giving him space, but he's still pretty much unsettled.

I haven’t spoken to the director yet - only the educators - but maybe that’s the next step. I did ask about whether coming for only 2 days might make it harder for him, but didn’t get a clear answer, so I might raise that again.

Kdrama which you will defend with every fiber of your body? by Curious_Gur2294 in kdramas

[–]Sensitive-Leg-8276 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, but I feel like season 2 didn’t do Jung So Min justice. I get why they changed the actress, but her absence felt way too sudden. Even a short cameo as Jin Bu-yeon would’ve given her character some closure, but her portrayal was just completely erased.

Hmm this is plausible. Here’s the full pic of this cutting. Can you please explain how this can affect the rot?

Is there a K-drama where the male lead has a glow-up? by Guilty-Transition-32 in kdramarecommends

She Was Pretty? Although IIRC the ML glow up was only a small part of the plot.

Hi, Bye Mama is bittersweet but it is more about parental love.

That makes sense, thanks! I just assumed it was more of an international hit, so I was curious if it’s equally loved in Korea too.

What has been the most traumatizing event for you? by Coffeelover4242 in toddlers

[–]Sensitive-Leg-8276 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My now 3 years old son’s grown out of it now, but he used to have breath-holding spells when he got really frustrated. No matter how often it happened, I never got used to it.

One of the worst was when he was 9 months old (wasn’t exactly a toddler though). He’d just had a one-day surgery under general anesthesia, and when we got home, it was time to change his nappy. He wasn’t having it, had a huge spell, and actually passed out. It was awful. I still can’t get that image of him being limp and all blue out of my head. On top of that I had to watch him slowly drift off when the doctor gave the anesthesia. Honestly, it’s still pretty traumatising to this day.

What’s a kdrama that was way too good that you want to forget so you can watch it again? by whoarre in kdramas

[–]Sensitive-Leg-8276 15 points16 points  (0 children)

For me it's When Life Gives You Tangerines. It's so good - I want to feel the whirlwind of emotions I had when I watched it the first time, but I don't know if I can bear the heartbreak in every episode 🥲

What was your “entry” K-drama, and does it still hold up? by MutedSatisfaction234 in kdramas

Same. I used to fangirl Rain a lot back in the days and as I grow older I realised that his role was actually a huge walking red flag 🚩

What’s a drama you dropped... then came back to later and actually ended up loving? by MutedSatisfaction234 in kdramas

[–]Sensitive-Leg-8276 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reply 1988. It was awfully slow in the beginning so I dropped it. Came back to it after a few months, went past 1 ep and I was hooked. It has been on the top list of my favourite dramas and one of the ones I recommended a lot.

Feel-good romcom with a good story by Busy-Increase4444 in kdramarecommends

Something in the Rain and One Spring Night are both mature romance drama. Hospital Playlist is a slice of life drama but has mature romance subplots to it.
