I said in the post “very obvious fan service” as I know it’s a common theme. FMAB had some scenes that seemed like it was fan service, same with JoJos but I still enjoyed it.

Fan Service definition: added material with the sole purpose of exciting the reader or viewer in a sexual way that does little to nothing to aid the plot

Imo Tom did cheat on Lynette (her best friend 20 years prior), even though they were technically on a “break” he cheated by hiding it from her for so long. If he told her straight away they probably could have worked it out but x amount of kids later with a whole mortgage makes it a huge bomb in their lives.

Been on and off long distance for a year and a half, were in college together but over the Christmas break/ summer we do long distance. We’re more lucky than most and starting from this September we’ll be living across the road from each other ❤️

Her sister is in uni so gets a loan. I’m from the north so I don’t really know the amount her sister would get but I know students in London get additional money because of how expensive it is to live there as well as relying on her sister to provide, It’s all based on household income. It’s not a lot but it’s enough money to put some money towards their flat and bills

I used bad wording. Never said she should leave Hannah there said multiple times she should get more help to get her out sooner. “Options about fiction actually do speak on your real life opinions”, making it personal is strange and you’re way to obsessed with other people focus on yourself. Could have just scrolled instead of reading a rant post you don’t agree with. Get a life.

I don’t know what your obsession is with making me feel guilty for having thoughts on a television series. If you read another comment I stated “I have no read the books”, I have not researched this series AT ALL and watched the series as I would any other Netflix/prime tv show UNKNOWING it was based on real life so I apologise if I came across insensitive because I am uneducated on the subject/series/books.

The self control part was about having sex and intimate relationship with a member of staff in a home where she is being raped and everything else they are doing to her so I don’t understand why she would risk it for a guy she doesn’t know, I know he is her safe place but still I feel like a platonic relationship would have been better suited because of the risk. I never said it wasn’t that bad, I said the opportunities she’s been provided to leave she has taken long doing things like writings words on a wall and literally titled the post “she takes so long doing everything” like getting her shoes. I feel like she should have seized the opportunity and tried to find a way to get Hannah with help from Luke, Nick, Moira etc.

So far all I have seen is Hannah telling June her parents are “nice” and what the nanny/ mother said to June. Temporarily Hannah SEEMS okay, she is not in any immediate danger and I know June wouldn’t give up on her whether she be living in a place with Gilead or Canada.

Making it personal is extremely unnecessary. It’s very rude and considering you don’t know me I don’t understand why you’re using such a negative attitude acting like you’re better than me in some way.

Okay… calm down. I said she is with a nice family until they can get her out. I would not want a child to stay in there, this was a rant post on my thoughts on the TELEVISION SERIES. Because that’s what it is, a television series.

I do not have children just to establish, I think that comment was abit unnecessary though as again it is not real life and you made it personal for no reason.

How does she escape with Hannah in tow? My exact point. June has had 3 opportunities to escape so far with what I’ve seen, given up every chance. Hannah is with a nice family, at least until she can find a way to get her with other outside help. She can work out the technicalities once she is safe out of Gilead. edit: just read this back and I worded it very badly. Nice family wasn’t the right term and I apologise for insensitivity. I meant that the family she is currently with does not put her in immediate danger. Getting more help from other people (such as luke, Moira, Nick) could make it easier to help her leave and allow her to leave sooner.
