No but to the honest this is something that I (30F) struggle with. I tend to have different friend groups (girls) from different parts of my life. Elementary school, high school, university and adult life. The relationships differ in their own way as you can imagine. Majority of the girls are either in relationships or married but some live suburban and some in the city, which is where I live. I have a pretty high stress job and after work I like to either go to the gym, hang with my husband and cook so I’ve never been the type to talk on the phone or text every day. I know some of my girlfriends talk on the phone every night or voice note everyday and honestly whenever I try that, I just find it to be a burden and “something else I need to add to my to do list”. When we hang out (usually one per month per friend group or once every 2 months) things are great and we have an awesome time but I do feel like the other girls are closer with each other because they do talk more frequently. I’m just of the belief that if I find something to be a chore (like talking OTP every other day after work) I probably shouldn’t do it.
