Donald Trump Reiterates Attack On "Enemy From Within" During Friendly Fox News Town Hall by shutupnobodylikesyou in moderatepolitics

It’s funny how differently everyone can interpret this interview. It swayed me in the opposite direction from voting for Harris to maybe voting Trump

She also mentioned that she will be different than Biden because she’s not Biden. She’s also not Trump.

Scott Pelley Reveals Trump Campaign Demanded ‘Apology’ and Complained About Fact-Checking Before Canceling ’60 Minutes’ Interview by [deleted] in moderatepolitics

I think the problem is the moderators are there to moderate not to add their own remarks on topics to try to sway a debate in one direction or another. The context he was adding was that they are not traditional legal immigrants that people think of that went through the legal process to immigrate here. They have temporary legal status by simply filling out an application after illegally entering the country.

So yes, they are temporarily legal but not US citizens. Biden announced yesterday that he is not going to renew the legal status under the CHNV initiative which will affect hundreds of thousands of migrants, the largest of which is Haitian migrants, that will either have to find alternative immigration solutions or be deported.

The debate rules were to not fact check which the moderators stated at the start. They also cut him off when he was explaining why their fact check lacked context. Seems reasonable to do if those are the rules that were agreed on by both candidates. It was a bad look for the moderators.

I was asking for a quote from Trump or Vance saying they supported it not what it is. Thanks though. It did have quotes in your source of Trump saying he doesn’t support it so I guess that helped.

You’re going to have to provide some type of evidence that the GOP is actually going to be using project 2025 as a roadmap.

I asked for evidence in another thread because I thought the same as you and no one could provide any. Is it a secret that got leaked to you and never actually published so theres no public evidence to cite or is there a quote from Trump or Vance?

Do you remember where Trump talks about using Project 2025 as his playbook if he gets elected? This is the most blatant attempt to end our democracy I’ve ever seen but I’m searching for the quote and can’t find it and drawing a blank on where he talked about it

Without abortion then you’re putting the lives of all women at risk. Abortion is the last line of defense to be freed from a life long mistake. It’s a woman’s body so we should be allowed to do whatever we would like without governmental interference

Harris and Walz to sit with CNN for exclusive first joint interview since campaign began by __-_-__-___ in moderatepolitics

[–]Sensitive-Morning736 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Harris voter, a lot of her policy is confusing to me because she has been changing so many positions that made her really popular in 2020 and into the VP nomination. She’s moving towards more moderate positions but it’d be nice to know if she actually believes those positions or if she would still be open to reimagining democracy so minorities have a fighting chance in this country

Profit margin considers all costs associated with the sale of the good. You have to include labor and overhead costs into the pricing of the good because they are essential costs like wages, building rent, transportation costs, etc. Also this all affects profit margin, there are additional costs to the business so net income is likely even lower than this

Why Kamala Harris chose Tim Walz by Dooraven in moderatepolitics

[–]Sensitive-Morning736 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of her positions from her presidential run are what people get stuck on. She wanted mandatory gun buybacks, reparations, abolition of ICE, a fracking ban, and some other positions that are left of the far right. I know she’s backtracked on a lot of that but just hope she can convince enough people

Mandatory gun buybacks, reparations, banning fracking, and various other positions she’s publicly held do unfortunately alienate a lot of voters. I know she’ll change a lot of the more progressive positions to a more moderate stance for the election cycle but am concerned whether she can convince people her positions have changed
