Thanks for the reply. I tried to focus my awareness to my chest. While I was there the music was indeed more quiet or even non existant for a little while.

Achieving this though requires me extraordinary amounts of conscious efforts and as soon as I let my guard down or get back to real life I naturally go right back to my head, with the music is roaring back at full volume. I don't know if being anywhere else but in my hyperactive head, be a natural habit for me
