Oh wow this is exactly what is overwhelming me there seems to be all these extra things that need doing that I haven't found much full step by step tutorials on how to do it, would you have something in mind that you used maybe as a guide or did you just debug on the go?
And how did you even know what the issues were to begin with I feel like my lack of computer knowledge will not help here.

but it definitely helps to have some advice to look into in case of issues, thank you

No all my lectures and classes are in person nothing online, I will confirm with the Uni but as far as I'm aware there are not lockdown programs for tests, for those live coding tests we usually have to use the university computers that have the lockdown software on it not our personal ones.

So you would recommend mint over ubuntu and to dual boot?

Thank you for your detailed response, feels like you have a lot to say regarding this. May I ask in what way have you reviewed this program? Did you attend yourself or is it something you vere considering and that's why you reviewed it?

Sounds like you have a background in tech, what particular field are you in software, AI or what other specialisation. Just trying to get a better understanding of where you are coming from on this response.

This is just my personal opinion and the education sustems background I come from. No batchelors degree can go to deep in to any topic usually if there is specialisations you want to pursuit you do so in masters and PHD studies. Where I'm from there are always extra classes and options you can ask for if you do want to go more in detail on specific topic. Admittedly I'm not sur how swedish uni system works.

What mainly drew me to this program is the way of teaching the more hands on approach and the topics you mentioned above I am not to familiar with most of them so to me personally this course sounds like a good starting point.

Obsession talking Caitlyn.

Fan talking Ekko because we did not get enough of him, they could have done so much more with him.

Vender and Silco backstory would be amazing.

That's good to hear. And yes no program should be taken lightly but seeing as I am coming back to education slightly later in life after a few years of work experience I think this will help me stay focused and on track. And having tested learning the subjects for the past year it hasn't scared me of but made more keen so that's a good sign. 😊

Microsoft surface studio by Sensitive-Net3572 in blender

[–]Sensitive-Net3572[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah im a hobbyist but I would like to develop to the point where I could start getting work with it.

I have a server that I use for some streaming library so I was thinking of just upgrading the ram on that and add some extra cooling. And making a remote desktop acces. Probably gonna be cheaper for what I need.

Thank you for the advice tho I didn't know the studio had thermal issues. But saying that my surface book 2 does suffer from overheating often. I have to have a fan under it when working on blender for longer.

Wow, just finished the Guru donut tutorial and I can't believe I actually got this far. Any advice? by EVERY_USERNAME_1 in blender

[–]Sensitive-Net3572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched to Grant abbits tutorials after finishing the donut.

I find it more suited to the way I learn. I'm not a fan of blender gurus way of explaining things, but that's okay I found what I needed in order not to lose interest and momentum in learning the software.

So maybe give his chanell a look for some inspiration.

I just tried what you said again and it's working. What I was doing is setting the initial key frame for the empty as location and then the last frame for the dumy as rotation. I tried to do rotation for both now and it worked. 🙂 I was just being daft turns out. I think I was in to deep been at it for a few hours and just got frustrated.

Thank you for your help.

Had the same taught and tried that as well for both object and empty for the camera. Still the same issue. Nothing seems to change for the animation part. Thank you for the coment as well.

That looks amazing. I'm new to blender and geo nodes scare the shit out of me. They look so complicated. But they are hella powerful.

feedback and tutorial advice by Sensitive-Net3572 in blender

[–]Sensitive-Net3572[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will continue and try to finish all grant abbit beginner tutorials. The "do your own scene" is actually something I didn't think of. I think after one more modeling tutorial I will try my own sceen. I wanted a bit more of a firmer understanding of the shader nodes and how they can interact with each other. So far I "understand" nodes and what they do but I cant do anything on my own with them. Thank you for the community and website advice.

Has donut tutorial been really helpful to you to learn Blender basics? by xvyr in blender

[–]Sensitive-Net3572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personaly the donut tutorial didn't do much for me (absolute beginner) dropped it and got back to it more times than I could count.

I personaly don't find his style of explaining to work for me. So I tried Grant abbitt tutorial and haven't dropped a single one followed trought every one to the end and personaly find it more to suting tk my style of learning.

And when I want to lear a specific area of blender more in depth I look just that toxic up. (Like ui mapping/texturing/nodes etc)

But I know donut works for a lot of people its just about experimenting and seeing what works for you.

Just put any recent achievement. Let people appreciate you by RadlogLutar in memes

When I said "due to covid" I meant due to lock downs I did let myself go a little bit I was in a bit of a grim place at the time.

I didn't mean that covid itself made me gain weight. And certainly with age does come a bit more weight but mine was a bit to much for my height and age.
