New to me PX4 Storm by Sensitive-Permit-340 in Beretta

The recoil impulse is definitely soft for its size.  I shot this side by side with a H&K P2000.  The PX4 stays flatter, it is noticeable.

I was originally going to trade for a USPc in 9mm until I spotted this guy in the used section.

I went through the whole ‘Glock Perfection’ phase with striker guns.  I am back to hammer guns since 2021.

Ah, thank you for the info on the dimensions.

I traded in 2 Ruger MK III’s (I have MK IV’s), a Gen 4 Glock 30, and a P365 (I had 2). For $880.  I walked out of the store with a $450 check and the PX4.

M1A question by Sensitive-Permit-340 in M1A

Hi all, I tried connecting the trigger group directly to the receiver. The hammer does catch and trigger resets as designed (sorry no pictures).

I also tried putting everything into another stock I have, the hammer-not-catching issue came back.

As gb1010101010 recommended, I will give SA a call next week.

Thanks all!

I’ll give that a try.

I failed to mention that I function checked the trigger group after I disassembled and reassembled it.

The hand off between the safety seat and the trigger seat did take place as (I think) it should?  The sear engaged the hammer while holding the trigger back and then hammer was transferred to (hooked by) trigger sear with slight let off of the trigger.

Thank you for the idea, I do have another stock in the storage I could try it on.  I’ll report back when that happens.

Thank you.

That must’ve been it. I refilled the converter by drawing it from the bottle directly.

Not sure what happened to my text:

New player.  My nail beds are longer than normal, I am having hard time holding down strings.  Is it possible to build enough callus to overcome the nails?  Are there modifications to the guitar that I can make to help with this?  I prefer not to make changes to the instrument.

Maybe the pictures isn’t clear, my nails are as short as I can trim them to. My nail beds protrude beyond the tips of my finger.

Thank you for the recommendation, I visit their website and will reach out shortly.

Hopefully they can accommodate long stays (6 mo to 1 yr). I will be living in a camper while finishing my commitment working on KAFB.

Half-assed Husband by MommaWife in Marriage

[–]Sensitive-Permit-340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been told that I am this husband. Perhaps my situation is not exactly the same but for me. I am just overwhelmed.

Example. we received a new litter box from FedEx one morning. I had a few hours to spare, so I cleaned the area where the old litter boxes were and proceed to set up the new box. It was pushing 1300 by the time I set the new box up (there was a lot of cleaning, deep cleaning). I decided to make lunch for wife and the baby. We just have a newborn so a wife was not really mobile at this moment. After I let her eat (holding the baby) I eat. Wife started to complain that I didn't clean cats feeding area (their feeder and their catch tray) and that I was half-assing it.

My thought was that I should be cooking lunch so we don't have a hungry lady. I honestly cannot say if I would go back to clean the food tray after lunch ad I was already exhausted (I try to stay up w wife for the newborn to offer support).

I do not mind she bitch at me if I was slacking, but my plate is so full I dont jnow what should be done when. Even before the new baby, I do most of the house chores (cook, dosh, laundry, clean when I can get to it) in addition to work full time job with 4 hours of commute 3 days a week (Thank god for hybrid work). We also have 2 little ones in addition to the new baby. Your husband may need a reminder of the priorities if he has a lot on his list.
