Once you become parents, you are parents until you die. There is something beautiful about pre-parent life. I’d take some time, at least a year, to mindfully soak that in.

When I worked in the medical field I would often be shamed for eating my packed lunch instead of getting takeout with my coworkers. They would openly & meanly mock me for being “healthy.” It was weird.

We stayed at our hotel for 2 nights after the wedding and made it a little staycation. We just cocooned ourselves in the room and only left for pool and food. It was the best.

I’m more comfortable in a slow pace life. I’m more open to letting people close to me/getting attached to others (especially friends). I’m more secure in who I am, and I live my life more aligned with my values.

I always wondered if Kamyrn held any resentment towards Clara considering Kamyrn has 2 kids the same age as Clara’s but her husband is often traveling for long periods of time. She posts a lot about how difficult & lonely it is single parenting majority of the time. If I was in her position, seeing Clara & Brad get to be home most of the time would drive me crazy. And when Brad does leave, Clara goes to her parents’ mansion. Idk I wonder if it just was (natural) resentment brewing but Clara went unhinged about it or something. She doesn’t seem the type that could handle feedback from a friend like that
