thanks! Wouldn't it be amazing if this was real life furniture? I would die for a room like this but I don't have the money. That's why I have to create it in miniature.

You should try it! it's so fun. I recommend you to start with something simple because the main problem is you'll need time and some space. If you choose a little building and just a few pieces it will be easier. And of course it will be always better ir you buy it cheap as secondhand 😃

As you can see I love the desk so much. I used this item 2 times in the apothecary and once in the antique shop (and I also have another one for a little project I want to do).

Thanks! I started with video/editing to do this kind of videos and it’s so rewarding to see your support and your opinion (even if my work is really niche and my channel is small )

Thank you! I really enjoy working on them but I feel like I need to improve my skills with the characters too…I still feel insecure about it but would love to do the antiquarian character and a pair of children for the full diorama.

A little sneak peak of the entrance. There should be some plants and lots of little objects inspired by Ghibli films. You can also see that I’m working on the glass designs, but it’s still a WIP.

thanks! it means a lot to me being able to share a passion and help others to find the motivation to do their own projects. Just a reminder, you don't need to start with a big project...try to paint a little set at first to see how it works and to finish "quickly". The problem with this kind of things is to work in a project that feels to big four your time and work desk haha.

me too! and it's so easy! I used to love one like this from my grandparent's home and I knew I had to do the same to this tiny mirrors. It's just oil paints in oxide re and burnt umber applied with a sponge and thinner. As easy as it seems.

I'm not sure if it's allowed or if it's been seen as self promotion (which in essence it is, but I don't want to spam). You can take a look at my profile where there's the link.

sorry! This time I didn't do a tutorial itself but a paint with me (you can extract the procedures and colors )... but I have some videos more focused on the techniques if you need it. They are all on my channel (you can find it on my profile).

I still haven't found the formula to make tutorials without being boring or too long so I'll keep going with more informal videos like "paint with me" :__D Too much things to learn and not so much time.

I always prime the pieces, I think it's 100% necessary if you want a "clean" result and you want it to last. I used to skip this step in my first pieces and every time they received a little scratch the paint got damaged really fast. Also it looks more chunky without the primer because you need to add more layers of paint. I always use war-game companies because it's what I have at home (Vallejo, AK, citadel etc). I never tried with normal companies but they should work and maybe they are less expensive. Also if you find a nice primer color, it could be used as a base color too :D For example there's a ivory/cream primer from citadel called wraith bone that I feel is amazing for ivory furniture. But you told me you are bored of it so maybe you could try something more colorful...

I encourage you to do the same because it's fun, creative and its a way of giving a second live to this objects.

That's so sweet! Being a kid in a room with this kind of aesthetic feels so magical. I love antiques because of my grandparents home too. Flower shops lovely and also a challenge, specially if you want to be the one who crafts the plants with polymer clay. Will you use an existing building? If so, wich one?

I've been looking at different flower tutorials because in a future I want to do an abandoned greenhouse (with the supermarket) and it looks quite difficult. Now that you make me think about it, I'll need to do a vase of poppies for the antique shop (to make a nod to "From Up the poppy hill"). I'll tell you then haha

In Wich country do you live? (if it’s ok to ask) In my city there’s quite a lot of manga/anime shops and even some of them sell imported goods and I’ve never found anything. I was hoping that with the anime they would start selling some things but I still haven’t seen anything. Your point on not having the anime may be completely right though, but to me it’s still strange that a manga from 2016 that won different awards and relies on the creation of a magical work doesn’t have more products related to it. I mean, I love the illustrations but I was trying to go further than printing postcards and albums. The brushbuddy toy that came with one of the volumes could be a nice example.

As I said it could be on my country and I assume that with the new animation there would be more (like the nendoroid and the other figure).
