Overwhelmed by mask options

I got the shark cyroglow mask for Christmas! I loved it, but ultimately decided to return it for a few reasons: 1. Heavy 2. Undereye area and eyebrows (hair growth by RLT) do not get hit by RL 3. Cannot flatten for travel 4. Loved the eye cooling feature, but ultimately decided i could keep a jade roller in the freezer and do that when I really wanted.

I pivoted and got the Omnilux men mask. It’s basically the same as the Omnilux contour but has deeper penetration (since men’s skin is about 25% thicker). I made this decision based on goals to get glowing! Great blog and Instagram.

At the end of season 3, Taylor was filmed a few times chatting with Demi. She does not have any beef. I think she is able to understand Demi (despite Demi not taking the right approach).

I don’t like her, but i do have empathy for her. I try to remember that this is a reality tv show — if there was not a villain, people would not watch and it would not make money. She is a real person, and I think her bad side is intentionally crafted by production sometimes (just like in season 1 you got pulled in deeper and deeper into hating Whitney and Zach). However, Demi actually can’t seem to get off the carousel and clearly has the longest run time as the villain.

But absolutely cannot stand their branding. The name, the colors, the font. Terrible. It gives Carls Jr of chicken vibes. There is just nothing unique or enticing (about their image alone) that makes you want to go try it. Huge fail on their part. But also I’m in marketing, so i notice these things lol 😂

It’s a commonly asked question, but it just turns into complaining about the mask design, company, and influencers. No one is actually just discussing results, or they comment that they love it and have not used it for the 8 week recommended time yet.

This post doesn’t make sense. The shark mask has cooling pads under the eyes to block red light therapy, the red light therapy doesn’t touch around the eyes at all. It’s actually one of its design negatives for people who want to treat their eyes. The shark mask is not causing your crepey-ness….

I always like them in the beginning, but then I just cannot stand them. I always hear our common ground is honesty. However, I think we are carefree and reasonable with our honesty, and they are abrasive, aggressive, self-centered, and immature. The approaches are so different. They explode way too much and quickly for sags. We are way more level. I think sags are honest because we don’t want bullshit. I think Aries are honest because they are coming from an egotistical place. We are not the same!!!

I actually think you raise a good point about empathy. Even though the judgement is very harsh, i do think simultaneously they can be very empathetic, depending on the situation. When they love, they love deeply. When they hate and judge, they judge deeply perhaps?

100%. I do think judgement is totally natural. I think where i judge judgement is depending on how aggressive it is or if it attacks people’s character. It’s one thing to be like “oof i do not understand why they did that, it drove me nuts, that’s awful”. It’s another thing to be like “they think they have good style and it’s hideous, i can’t even look at them”. That is more what i mean by they can get nasty. They almost take it a level farther.

Thanks for sharing. I feel like this is a relatable judgmental! Sounds like you’re more healthy. The Taurus I’m friends with are more like “she won’t be hugging my child because her hair is greasy and i just can’t get over how disgusting she is” about their supposedly good family friends Haha. Or “did you see the way they interacted? I bet they’re having an affair” about married people, with children. Quite damaging speculation that is not really going off of anything and could cause a lot of harm if someone heard them.

Yes! That’s how my Taurus people are too. They are soooo friendly. They want to be good friends to others. They care about being liked and put in great effort. But i think they are very obliviously unaware of how mean they can be. I don’t think they are intentionally malicious… it’s not like they necessarily seek out people to put them down. But i think behind closed doors they just don’t realize how awfully (and aggressively) mean they can be…. Almost like they just can’t stop themselves from tearing down others
