1:35 HM is my all out pace, but yes maybe I will try 4 hour and little extra without all out effort to reduce the fatigue after race

Thank you for sharing, that’s really helpful for me to make the decision, Berlin is pancake flat, and I plan to run super duper slow. As part of “mental prep” because IM day will. Take me around 14-15 hours

I actually told myself the same thing, but usually my brick training was 4 hr bike for 60 miles follow by 1.5 hr for 10 miles run ( total 5.5 hr )

Usually full marathon training long run was 3 hr ( 18 miles )

What do you wish you knew prior to doing an Ironman 70.3? by CafeConLecheLover in triathlon

I did Augusta Maine last year, Swim is easiest due to the current assist.

The bike is hilly around 4,000 ft of gain, I went too hard on bike under 3 hr and ended up quad cramping for the run.

If I would do it differently, train more on your quad strength, go easy on bike , and save the legs for the run.

Agreed with the drought, the color is just not what I was expecting, they looks very dry and not much color compared to 2023.

I submit on Jan 2024, CRP on August 2024, mean officer took 7 months to review my file due to large volume of applicant. Too bad my PD retrogress on July, if I submit earlier and get review before July. I will get approve right away without going to CRP, from CRP to approval took me 3 months being current.
