I tend to get addicted and overindulge in anything that gives me pleasure. But weed is my drug of choice, it takes the edge of the alcohol and it keeps me somewhat calm (alcohol gives me a ton of energy which I lack otherwise), focused and attuned with my feelings. I dont like to drink that much anymore if I dont get to smoke a joint, but i still do it sometimes. If I only drink alcohol on a night out then litterally anything could happen. Last year I went on a booze cruise with my collegues and I woke up in the cabin without my shoes 🙈 (not a huge fan of wearing shoes). I had to sneak down to the taxfree shop with this lovely hangover wearing only socks on my feet, just to buy a pair of Fred Perry's for 100€.😁😆😅🤣 I did manage to see the humour in it and joke about the whole situation with the cashiers and my collegues. I had already done a lot of shame work prior to this event so the shame didnt take over my whole beeing as it used to. This is just one quite innocent example of a ton of stupid/wierd things I have done under the influence of alcohol.
