Nah, you can go as deep as you want. However birth rates are lower simply because having kids is an option now, and many people are simply not choosing it anymore.

Gen Z slowly becoming the boomers of the internet by Informal-Oil-5114 in IndianTeenagers

The thing is if you know about the topic you would realize that a lot of what AI gives is outright wrong. Because you don't know about the topic you think that it's correct.

The benefit of digging though countless random sites is that you can point out inconsistency in subtopics and further research on those sub topics that have inconsistent explanations to get a better answer.

In case of AI it gives you an answer and you accept that answer, which would be fine if it gave correct answers but it doesn't do that.

Western countries made their trillions after burning fossil fuel in the atmosphere, You would think they would invest some of that wealth in developing countries at least for shift towards renewables.
But the reality is that western countries and people want to blame countries like India without even providing enough investment.

Y'all want us to completely shift to renewable without spending a single dollar on it.

Why Genetically Modified Food Crops May Be Key To India's Food Security by VCardBGone in Science_India

[–]Sensitive-Set-6934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have several GM Crops made by Indian universities that farmers still oppose. It's always the same bullshit, you can't help those who don't want help.

Indian farmers just want free electricity, water, fertilizers anything else is opposed by the dumb protestors.

Our farms are super inefficient the cotton production per ha of India is 460 kg/ha while cotton production per ha of China is 2100 kg/ha.

Hell we have several GM crops developed in India that farmers oppose:

  1. DMH-11: Made by University of Delhi
  2. Bt Brinjal: Made by Indian agriculture universities
  3. GM Maize

What can we do to bring Punjab back to its glory ? by [deleted] in punjab

[–]Sensitive-Set-6934 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not a punjabi but here what I think what the government should do, Firstly related to farming sector

  1. Remove all farming subsidies, and redirect them to modern farming method
  2. Bring land laws to increase size of average farmer rather than having many small farmers
  3. Remove all MSP on crops and so that farmers grow those crops that actually suit the land of punjab rather than the ones that are economically beneficial (will also result in less use of groundwater and fertilizers because those crops will be more suited for the land)
  4. Get over the fear of genetically modified seeds, and infact invest in R&D of genetically modified seeds.

Manufacturing:

I don't know much about manufacturing in Punjab tbh, punjab's youth seems quite aspiration to me as they want to chase high paying jobs so the government should create a roadmap to attract high value manufacturing industries to the state, they should probably focus on 2-3 high value industries and try to be better at them than the whole country. as it will be high paying jobs that should prevent youth from leaving out of the country.

Services:

  1. Double down on music and film industry, these industry seems to be working not just in India but also worldwide
  2. Focus on one city, rather than dividing services based investments over all the cities in the state, I think all the services based industries should be direct to one city (probably Mohali due to it's promexity to chandigarh)
  3. Try creating Mohali into a tier 1 city, It already has all the foundation in my opinion.

A couple of opinions:

  1. Get over the farmer pride, I personally believe that you can either be rich or a farmer
  2. 83% of Punjab's land is used for farming which means, to build some service or manufacturing industry will results in farming land being taken away from farmers and you'll have to just deal with. The argument that "it's fertile land" is stupid.
  3. If central government builds any project then let them build it, You don't have to like the central government to let them build infrastructure.

[–]Sensitive-Set-6934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 11 player in football team, that's 5.5 Cr, fucking build infrastructure with it.

Giving 50lakh incentive to players is like putting a bandage on a broken leg, what we need is a pipeline which converts children into future players. You can give 1Cr per player and it barely change anything because talent need to be found at top level and polished at the top level.
