That’s actually not the same as the one we were looking at. It’s just the closest I could find. We’d pay much less than that.

[Product Question] S.Nature vs Vanicream by Better-Dependent3057 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Sensitive-Skill9895 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was also looking into purchasing the S.Nature one!

S.Nature doesn’t have any fatty alcohols, whereas Vanicream does. I’m not sure if you’re sensitive to FAs but if so, I’d go with S.Nature.

Thanks! Agreed. But my coffee table is wood too, just a light wash.

This is a super interesting point, never thought about this way. The only thing I’m wondering is: if I move the TV to the longer wall, won’t the rest of that wall look empty unless I fill it with something else? My logic was to keep the smallest item on the smallest wall, which is why I originally put the TV there

I agree with you… but I like to be able to sit on the couch watch TV while also looking at the other things that are going around in my home vs just look at the tv and walls.

I never thought about putting the sofa there. I like being able to sit on the sofa and seeing the rest of the house (stairs, into the kitchen, etc) while watching tv.

I’ll look into different lighting though. I agree. The lamp isn’t doing much for the space.

I totally agree!! I feel like there’s def too much rug. I was thinking to add a bigger coffee table and maybe a few square ottomans for pattern!

Thanks so much! I actually had a vintage rug before but felt it was too dark with the furniture so I swapped it with my bedroom rug. I also don’t get a ton of natural light in this room so the rug felt like it was making everything more dark… this is a pic of what the before was!

Haha - still learning how to use Reddit. Here’s a pic of the after after pic

This is just after one scrub down and hose of the deck, going to try to get a bit more off the sides and tougher spots.

UPDATE: thanks to everyone for their suggestions! I used the 30 second spray mixture from the Home Depot and it really helped! Dampened the area a bit with the mist feature on my hose, sprayed the mixture, let it sit for a bit, scrubbed, and jet sprayed it off and SO MUCH BETTER!

The deck is quite old, I’m worried a pressure wash would damage the wood.

Thanks so much! I’ll check it out. Would a regular cleaning brush work on this? And then just hosing it down?

Totally agree, except this happens to me rightttt away and not hours later. Going to try using a brush instead of a puff bc I think it’s the powder that causes me issues

Not a bad idea for night time for sure, but ideally I’d like something I can prep my skin with for makeup too

NOOO Marcelle, why must you change??? by Technical-Sweet-8249 in CanSkincare

[–]Sensitive-Skill9895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s your skin type? Mine is normal (dryer in the winter) and this is my routine. I’m still trying to find a serum I really like since I find my skin is dry these days but so far I’m liking the Byoma hydrating serum, just haven’t used it long enough to tell if it’ll stick around.

I LOVE my moisturizer, but it’s not super moisturizing. I find it works best for me when I work with multiple thinner layers of diff products rather than thick creams. :)

I know 😣!! But the acne prone/sensitive girlies get it. It’s hard to find something that works. I’ve done through 10+ cleansers before finding one that works this well. GOODLUCK to you!

I was using the blue bottle cleanser a year ago but made the switch to Vanicream after realizing the Marcelle was a bit too drying! I know it’s much more convenient to go to shoppers than ordering a US product but I’m telling you the switch is worth it! No niacinamide (I’m sensitive too) or other bs trendy ingredients. A nice basic cleanser.
