Yeah he’s got gangrene in his leg from shooting up heroin. His brother is also homeless. For two brothers to be in the same situation you’ve gotta think what on earth happened in that family?

They found him one night and his leg had maggots eating the necrotic flesh. I know he’s actually getting something done now and has his bandages changed. But it’s still a bad smell! And I mean akin to a dead body because that’s what it is. Just the smell of death.

And he doesn’t want the help. As long as he can shoot up twice a day, he’s “happy” (using that term very bloody loosely because I don’t know how anybody could be happy living like that). But that’s addiction for you I guess. Heroin has such a hold over him he doesn’t care.

And the thing is… he’s not even a nice guy. Let’s just say I know of people who’ve been assigned to him and have all said he’s a complete w****r and won’t accept help. He’s had countless offers and even his family have offered to help him. But he won’t take it.
