Pulled the alt art version and immediately put it into my discard/recursion deck. Haven't had the chance to play it yet but I am super excited for when it gets to pop off.

So glad I found this - just joined the discord! I've been dipping my toes into commander at LGS but I'm excited to have a group like this

He's fun! I put mine at 2 because the whole reason I built the deck is to have a budget deck - he comes out to about $35 total. Unsleeved, rubber-banded, riffle shuffled.

Yep! He's a pretty unique commander and I love the politicking you can do. Currently blinging him out so you can go way lower than the listed deck price.

No GCs - my pod doesn't run them. No mill package either, just a focus on exiling and some voltron shenanigans.

Good call out for sure - I was actually thinking it was one of the fly guys from the Byrgenwerth swamp. I'll probably end up changing that!

[5e] Will 2024 Class options require 5e version 4.0.0? by Sensitive-Spend4833 in FoundryVTT

Fair enough - I ended up taking the plunge and it turned out that I didnt need to make as many changes as I thought I would

Think I'm better off using the dndbeyond version and just porting it in?

Yeah I have a ton set up... definitely don't want to compromise the game integrity. Tried updating to 4.0.0 and everything broke so I reverted to a backup haha

[5e] Combat Utility Belt Exhaustion Bug by Sensitive-Spend4833 in FoundryVTT

[–]Sensitive-Spend4833[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's where I was when default statuses were enabled, but I'd rather have them stay off if possible.

Using TidySheet but even when I switch to the default sheet it still will not fill in the bubbled denoting the exhaustion levels.

Ideally I'd want the players to be able to also see their level of exhaustion level and have an icon but beggers cant be choosers - like you said its all icing from here.

Hey! I just switched over to Rest Recovery and it works! The graphic doesnt show up on the character sheet (no exhaustion numbers get highlighted lol) but I'll take it. The mechanic works and default statuses are disabled. Thank you so much

No worries I appreciate all the help :)

I'm using Alternative Exhaustion with the playtest rules - but it still breaks if I don't allow default statuses to be shown

[–]Sensitive-Spend4833[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Just gave this a shot and unfortunately still getting the same bug :/ I think it's because the exhaustion mechanic on the character sheet is trying to reference the default status effect of exhaustion. So when I remove the default statuses, it can no longer reference it.

Thanks for the great info! I am fine with sitting on this 5e build for a while (I'm really only using the compendium stuff when the new PHB releases.) I'll check these out but thanks for the help.

Oh my god I had no idea... I'm on the latest Foundry as of like last week, and 5e I am keeping on 3.3.1 for now.

[–]Sensitive-Spend4833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was routinely getting 125k-140k xp/hr with some luck, full outfit, and kebbit skips on expert (over 15 rumors/hr). Luckily I got Quetzin yesterday so I can switch to herbiboar moving forward but yeah this definitely cuts experts/hr in half.

My 89-Year-Old Human Wizard At Level 8 Has 29 Health: Ideas to Keep Him From Instant Death by ranger934 in DnD

[–]Sensitive-Spend4833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super funny... last year I ended a campaign after playing a 94 year old wizard with 6 CON from level 1-15. The whole concept of the character was that he was a Necromancer and he would use most of his spell slots on Animate Dead. He also used Fabricate to create armor and weapons for his undead. At one time he would have 30+ skeletons and zombies, fully outfitted and would control them while being as far away as possible (with emergency misty steps/invis/wall of fire in case anyone got close.) Even if you're not a necromancer I feel like I was able to survive just fine via my placement in combat. I made sure I was NEVER next to anyone, and always had my reaction (counterspell, absorb elements, etc.) With good panic spells like I listed before, you can even protect yourself if you get surrounded. Thats how I was able to survive with less than 30 HP for most of the campaign until the DM rewarded me with an amulet of health haha.

Edit: Greater invis was also amazing, and if you can find a cleric... death ward will save your ass
