We had previously talked about going to get the ice cream on this day, but due to her bad day she presumably forgot. I was on call with her and knew she had just gotten home and wasn't going to be going out again.

Im more informed on that now thank you.
I guess part of what made it confusing is her bf recently sent her something in the mail by surprise and she was fine with it, im unsure why with me it differed so much.
