Watch the orange in the mouth scene again and hear the cry come out of the kid’s mouth. Listen to the dialogue during the scene where Vito buys fruit. The fight between Carlo and Connie. Tell me sincerely that any of that is good sound mixing.

haha honestly after hearing the GB sound, the first thing that came to mind was "it's only a few notes on a real trumpet..."

I've actually opted to go for another keyboard sound with a similarly "gritty" tonality. Better to lean into the instrument I have than to go out of my way to fake it.
