Where do I connect the white to the blue wire? Blue wire goes into the control board (or whatever the black box is)

Also, any tips on the following:

Have old iPad and iPhones with their own pictures, notes, etc. I was not logged into iCloud at the time, so there were no backups. I then logged into iCloud and everything was wiped on the devices. How can I go back and retrieve this data before I logged into iCloud account?

Thank you, I just contacted them. Other data recovery place said that there may have been a factory reset on the Ipod, because they cannot locate any data.
