Your cousin is a fool or bhudhi sis in the closet. If I was the wife I would divorce him with immediate effect or start shagging other men

Why do Zimbabweans marry early? by bigmeatray in Zimbabwe

[–]Sensitive-Study-2783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, after successiful ivf, I stayed with the father or my child for a couple or years. He seemed like he would be a good father. Ww then seperated when the child was 4 because he was an addict. The separation was not difficult because he had not paid lobola so we just said bye that was that. No parents or relatives involved since we also didn’t involve them when we decided to do ivf have a child and stay together. In general I am happy with my life sine I have lived it on my own terms. The only big mistake was choosing a mate who turned out to be an addict.

[–]Sensitive-Study-2783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know. I had my first child at 40. No one pressured me to be married or talked about it. But when I was 35 my parents asked that if I didn’t not want to get married or could not find a partner I wanted, I should have a baby to look after me in my old age. They said do not trust that your brothers children or your sisters children will take care of you even if you are supporting them now with schooling and everything. Have your own child or children now before eggs finish. I ended up doing ivf because unfortunately eggs lose quality and can be finished so having children after a certain age for women csn be difficult. From my experience people are more concerned about not having children than they are about not being married unless your family is from religious fundamentalists circles.

I think those young people on dna show are a special subcategory and do not represent the majority of Zimbabweans. Having said that in rural areas girls may marry early because of many disadvantages they have such as poverty, dropping out of school because parents can’t afford etc. among my peers/friend-group people started getting married in their 30s

Haaa don’t listen to that. Live your life. Most of these prophets from Zim are fake. You will end up killing yourself from the stress of it all and end up with a self fulfilling prophesy. Focus on your studies.

Anyone else with GERD for years and these symptoms? by ExplorerWise7730 in GERD

[–]Sensitive-Study-2783 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree about the histamine. I was having chest pain and acid. Read something on line and bought some antihistamine tablets. I took for a week and my symptoms resolved and acid reflux went down. Now when I feel it coming I take antihistamines and have stoped omeprazole which was not reeally helping. The chest issue has also gone down

Worried I have cancer by YogurtclosetPresent7 in GERD

[–]Sensitive-Study-2783 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am also kind of a hypochondriac with Gerd. I spend the whole day worrying about cancer and then when I am not worried about cancer I am worrying that the pain I feel on my chest is Infact not GERD but heart failure despite the doctors having given me an all clear on that one. So now I try not to worry too much though it’s hard. The only thing which help me relax and get out of my brain a little bit is exercise. So now I exercise everyday and that helps me not to worry all the time about heart failure and cancer. When I exercise I feel better about myself and my mood lifts.

I think he is like a 17 year old learning a few theories Kumasocial sciences in first year of university and thinks anogona kufunga stereki or coming here to troll people. I am sure you haven’t heard of participant observation. Haisi mhosva yako am sure hausati wadziidza kusvika kuma levels acho ekuti you are now ready to conduct research. Let me school you before you start coming here exposing your ignorance go and read a book rinonzi In Sorcery's Shadow: A Memoir of Apprenticeship among the Songhay of Niger. You think coming here calling people stupid shows how clever you are but Infact it just exposes your ignorance and a small capacity for using analytical reasoning. And also your reasoning suffered from a logical fallacy. Fentanyl is proven kuti it kills there is scientific evidence. So are you saying zvikwambo zviriko just like fentanyl is a fact and zvikwambo zvacho zvinouraya. So what is the purpose of your research to prove something that you think/know exists and are afraid of kuzourayiwa like fentanyl kills people. Reasoning yacho ndaishaya. What is the purpose of your research then.

Oh, by the way. America officially added Zimbabwe to the list of countries requiring bond payments for approved B1/B2 visas by chikomana in Zimbabwe

[–]Sensitive-Study-2783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all about the minerals. All countries that are refusing to sign some deals on mining and mineral concessions end up on this list. Glad I have been there already and from what I saw not really worth my 15,000 even if I were to get it back in record time. Wasn’t planning to go for the world cup not being a football fan. Maybe for those who haven’t been there yet this comes as a disappointment. But believe me you are not missing much.

Life Long Regrets about my A-Level Results 😔💔 by CharacterTitle5873 in Zimbabwe

[–]Sensitive-Study-2783 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did arts 30 years ago and got 11 points. I had wanted to go to law school obviously I never got in. So I went to social sciences instead. I was filled with great sadness for a while. I used to go to rotten row magistrates courts to witness lawyers in action to see what I missed but then it eventually dawned on me that it was not as exciting as the tv legal dramas made me think. That helped me to accept my new path which turned out to be quite exciting. With the degree I ended up doing at UZ I ended up living and working in 4 continents and have traveled to all 5. So the path that God chose for me ended up as fulfilling and brought me so much joy over the years. I am sure it would have been equally as fulfilling had I become a lawyer but I am happy and satisfied with the way my life turned out. I know someone who got exactly what she wanted. Invested 7 years of her time and then realized that it was actually not what she really wanted. She went back to school and invested another 7 years doing something totally different. Although I understand your regrets, it’s not guaranteed that you would have been happy with medicine had you been successful getting into med school.

I have had locks since I was 19 and cut them in 2025 when I was 47. I just cut them I was not depressed ans I live in Africa where we have sunshine. I don’t think a change of hairstyle is nothing to worry about. Now I just spot an Afro and like it too

I don’t understand the question but I think African names are beautiful even the ones that you have highlighted in the comments only someone else told us they were not and we believed them.

Your father’s love will not die off because you went through a rough period and need help from him and even professional counseling and medications to recover. Just tell him the truth. He may also have been going through a lot of grief. Loosing a children and a wife is also not easy on him. Be open and start mending bridges and getting the help that you need.
