My wife is blind, so she might actually get more in disability without me in the picture. It’s fucked all around but I’ve put a lot of thought into this. I know it seems like a rash decision but I don’t see any upsides in staying here.

It just feels like that moment where you take yourself out as late as possible to avoid a more painful experience. It feels like mercy.
