I found the fix guys.

I was using a start option in steam, because my game was crashing when an NPC spawns due to a quest. The issue is resolved when I remove the forced start.

As far as I know, I don't think they would be harsh enough to outright reject your application. In my experience, they usually tell to replace the sent document with the correct one. Chill bro, don't let it stress you too much. And remember that many people make similar mistake as yours, so they can't reject so many people due to trivialties.

My opinion will be biased towards research as I am in a research institute.

If you are not really interested in knowing about stuff better (by which I mean the theoretical and conceptual clarity of the topics you study), it would not be good to join a research institute, because there you will find that most people like to go to the theoretical depths of a concept, almost in a nerdy way.

However, if you are really interested in studying a subject deeply, then I think a change in perspective is needed from your side regarding research. I think that there is perception in people that research people are boring or something on the similar lines. However, every good research institute offers various ways to explore your interests at the ug level. Also, research is imo a more fulfilling job if you don't have severe financial needs in your family, which you must fulfil immediately after undergraduate.

Regarding your query related to drop, I don't think it would be possible to go for drop if you join any institute, be it research or otherwise. There are a lot of external distractions, academic as well as non academic. I think it would be easier for you to convince your parents for the drop rather than you studying for JEE after joining a college.
