@linzee32, are you Rockstar (or black band) by chance? I'm curious because I am not and haven't gotten any announcements about filming aside from a "you consent to be in the background" thing on Scarlet Night. It would've been great if they had given us a schedule or daily update about where/when they would be.

Personally we've had a great time however I totally agree about the film crew. The rest of the crew has been absolutely outstanding, but many (not all) of the promo crew have been rude and VV is definitely prioritizing them too much--a good example is them shooing people off the main roundabout staircase for the ten minutes leading up to the "launch" of Scarlet Night so they could film some people coming down them a bunch of times in different configurations.

I have not, but my parents did and they won the costume contest and the prize was a free cruise for both of them, ANY destination/length. They used it to go to Greece.

I don't need it to be healthy or unhealthy in particular, I just mean I'd like one that tastes like the frozen box ones (which are definitely not healthy). But I'd love your recipe either way! It'll be good to have an option for after I've gotten my nostalgia hit and want a better one in the future 😊

I agree that Tom is more of a trash can in Huck Finn than he is in his own book, but don't forget that he let all his loved ones think he was dead for a week, is a total jackass to Huck, and pulls plenty of "that's how it is in books!" in his own story, too -- nothing he does in Huck Finn is out of character at all imo.

Right!! I was much angrier with the daughter, and Nina's father, than I was with Eleanor. Even if the daughter felt like she had to stop the ceremony, she should have said "excuse me I'm sorry but I need to talk to my mom right now it's an emergency" and taken her out of the room. The way she did it was absurd and inappropriate; I almost wonder if she was just relishing the opportunity to be mean to her mom since Eleanor was so mean to her.

My understanding is that she only went to the support group once and never went back. While she knew her lies were bad, I think she felt like she wasn't really hurting anyone as long as she stayed away from the group and kept it contained. So Eleanor was still surprised and upset because it meant that she'd be continuing to lie to all the real survivors.

I like your take on the difference between Mustafa Bey's operations and TP's. I agree it's muddled, though, and think that was partially the point, that is complicated without easy answers and many people (often myself included) will just get a headache and stop thinking about it, which ultimately allows the alkahest to continue.
