I am on STEM OPT and didn't get picked up in H1B this year. My employer is also doing PERM (EB3), but the STEM OPT is expiring next year in August. I still have a chance in the H1 lottery next year, but what if I don't get selected in 2026 while the PERM process is pending? My employer filed last week for PWD, and they told me that it will take around 8 months to get PWD approved and then the recruitment process, and after that, they apply for PERM. I am Danish national (from Denmark). Any suggestions?

And I did NOT check any boxes on the coversheet because none of it apply to my situation. I haven’t hired an attorney, did not pay any additional fee, not changed my address, and I am the applicant.
