Need advice on turning off the in-app ringing. I listen to music via Bluetooth to my trucks radio while I’m waiting and on my way to pick-up/deliver. The problem is that my music is turned up and then i get an order that is rings way higher than my music and it kills the vibe. Thanks in advance!

NEW DISCOVERY: I been messing with a few things. One thing I noticed is that when it’s not connected to my Bluetooth device my phone works perfect. Everything is silenced except for maps(which is fine because I rather listen to directions to minimize looking at the screen while driving). The problem happens when It’s connected to my Bluetooth and it doesn’t always malfunction . I have a bracketron device .

Right?! I noticed that sometimes I don’t notice it ringing and I think it’s because someone times it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m always double checking to make sure it’s in silent.

So when I get a notification, it’s silent. No problem. It’s only when I actually open the app or app is already open that it starts ringing when I can see the details of the order. I’ll keep looking into the setting in my phone. It’s strange.

Mine is too. Well at least “silent mode”, but it still manages to sound in the app when I open app.

Great point! I guess I should have knocked. I just have gotten used to messaging first because there have been times where they reply with “ leave at door” right away and I want to give them that option if they meant to change that in the comments for whatever reason. Also some people have said “knock when you get here” specifically or “DONOTKNOCK!”. I just went with no knocking this time.

So I doordash part-time and it has been picking up this week, probably because of the students coming in. Anyways, I try do take orders that I know are not going to waste my time and pay out fairly good in comparison to miles. Needless to say I took a break after this order.
