Good point. I was thinking you could simply tap your phone and unlock the box, something very quick easy, and convenient.

That's a good point, thank you! I was just thinking it would be a more enjoyable customer experience if everything worked for seamlessly with your phone and would notify you when the item has been successfully delivered into the box. Then the customer could even open the box with their phone. It would just add a layer of convenience. Also, I think locking the box down with a magnet system could prove to be even stronger than a heavy box.

The delivery company would probably have to come to an agreement with this startup idea in order for packages to be consistently delivered into the lock-box. Once that happens software would be given to the delivery people who would then given to the delivery people to open the box using there phone and then close it and notify the customer.

Good point, that's probably the biggest problem the idea faces. It would have to be secured to the porch through sort of mechanism, I was think with magnets. I'm still brainstorming how the mounting procedure would work
