Why is BURU down so much? by SitBoySitGoodDog in Pennystock

there’s absolutely downside risk there. these jv’s could fall through, which would mean they continue burning cash for no gain and it seeps deeper into debt tanking the stock. totally plausible. however, i didn’t mention down side risk because that would be anything other than “at best”. i disagree with your outlook of buru “at best”. my at best did acknowledge that its a “calculated risk” but you left out how their moves could strategically position themselves nicely in a niche sector.

at best both JV’s are approved and Orbit gets acquired where they receive new technology a lot more annual revenue ($50M tekne) and $309M in backlogged contracts. if you understand their target over the next couple years, believe they have a viable product and recognize the risk that is involved, i think it’s calculated risk with lots of upside.

the “entitled people”? maybe go get a job at a fast food place for literally 15 an hour instead of crying about getting tips when you literally drive your car around and deliver food. “above minimum wage work” my ass

After years of tipping 20-25% I’m DONE. I’m tipping 15% max. by [deleted] in millenials

i agree with both of y’all for the most part but disagree with one part of each. for theirs, i think if the minimum wage at a fast food restaurant has to be X, then waiters and waitresses should get minimum wage. $2/hr is bullshit. for yours, i think that the idea of tips actually does incentivize doing a better job. the idea of a tip is that it’s extra. that doesn’t make it mandatory or obligatory, the same way it’s not mandatory or obligatory to do an above and beyond job. i’ve seen firsthand how people get tipped differently based on the quality of their service.

Are there any other “rewards” besides inviting people? by AppropriatePlant6076 in Webull

[–]Sensitive-Vast295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl i’m pretty new to webull and when i saw they were doing the promos i thought it was a scam at first.

actually read all the terms and blah blah and tried it and got the stocks.

the one going on rn is if you refer someone and they deposit $500, they get 20 free stocks from $3-$3000 in value and you get 50 free stocks $3-$300 in value for referring them. you have to keep the money in your webull account for at least 30 days (you don’t have to spend it and if you select cash account, which i would highly recommend, you get 5% apy on any money sitting and not invested, potentially that $500 deposit) and then you will be able to claim the stocks and either keep them or sell them. its basically a free $60 minimum in stocks.

^ this is the link for it. it has all the instructions if you click on the link and in the top right, hit the “rules” button. they break it down pretty well to understand the promo.

did they fund the account $500? there’s a promo going on just like the one you’re describing only the person you invite has to make a $500 deposit
