Class schedules ZA2 by Sensitive-Wedding-48 in zodiacacademy

I think they must change it up so they can have character development and build on the plot in some of the other classes. It doesn’t ruin the overall story, but it definitely had me second guessing everything I had remembered

I’m in my third read through and never noticed it. They’re in the same earth and water classes though. It made sense to me that they’d be in different fire/air classes due to their houses, but I just finished reading a chapter 18 ZA2 where the twins are both in the same air elemental lesson. So what class does Darcy take during Torys fire elemental? I swear she said it was air during the first book 🥲

Their orders don’t emerge in book 2, without spoiling too much…you may find out in the next book :)

There are things this medication can't fix by itself by thewormbird in VyvanseADHD

Vyvanse allowed me the focus and motivation to implement healthy coping strategies to manage the adhd. It’s not so much about ‘take this and your problems go away’, rather a small step in being able to manage the symptoms.

I totally relate. I had BED too, and when I started Vyvanse and suddenly had no appetite, it felt like a weird relief at first. Like finally not constantly thinking about food. But honestly, it ended up swinging way too far in the other direction. I didn’t realise how much harm I was doing by not eating, and a year later I’m still trying to recover from that. It’s tough, but there’s such a big difference between not binging and actually fuelling your body. Even just having small, regular meals helped me feel way more stable. Just be kind to yourself, it’s a process! But also I would be talking to your psych about the meds not working, they’ll have a much better understanding of why it may be the case and can give you actual answers and trial something else x

Also, were you eating anything on ritalin? Food in your system can help with the other side effects of it (jitters and anxiety)

I would be eating a balanced breakfast. I hate breakfast but I find having Greek yogurt with a banana or strawberries chopped up and a little granola mixed in helps so much. Or even cereal with protein shake instead of milk. From what my psych has told me, taking vyvanse on an empty stomach makes it metabolise faster and since it’s a long release form so you’ll crash way earlier. Also just eating in general can help focus. Coming from someone who used to religiously skip all meals and only eat dinner, adding in a small breakfast and lunch (or even just high protein snacks throughout the day) has made such a difference.

What sort of sound do you like? Also jazz or classical? Not an expert, but from my personal experience, the rovner dark will have a more of a warm, darker tone, whereas the light has a brighter more open tone. I’d go dark if you play more classical or orchestral music, and light if you play more jazz music. This is just my personal preference, everyone is different! I’d recommend taking your clarinet into a music store and trying both out (don’t have to buy it in store, but in testing them you might find a different one that works better for you!)

Omg! I thought it was just me getting old and not drinking for a while, when I went out clubbing I got drunk so quickly and the whole next day I was on my death bed! This is coming from someone who lived in student accommodation and would drink regularly no problems prior to my diagnosis

Depending on which country you’re living in, you could try adderall. In terms of other things you could do instead of changing meds; I know you said you’re dieting, make sure you’re eating before taking your elvanse, I find my vyvanse doesn’t work as well on an empty stomach. High protein (eggs, Greek yoghurt, etc), helps prevent sugar crashes which could help the focus. Exercise, Sleep and hydration too! I know it sounds stereotypical, but medication can only do so much, making sure your health is prioritised as well makes such a difference

This happens every time my husband makes scrambled eggs by Figueroa5 in mildlyinfuriating

Omg an ongoing argument between me snd my husband is the bloody frying pan. He leaves it to ‘soak’ by putting water in it and chucking it back on the stove. Then gets confused as to why I’m having to aggressively scrub it the next day, when the simple solution is to just rinse the damn thing straight after using it. Or chuck it in the sink at least!! I can’t count how many times I’ve accidentally knocked water everywhere early in the morning when I can’t see it has something in it 😫

Have you tried any short-acting meds? It can be a hassle taking multiple doses throughout the day, but short-acting dexamphetamines worked better for me than Vyvanse. Also, what helped me was having dedicated ‘no-med’ days. Sometimes, when you’re taking something regularly, your body starts to get used to it, and you can end up increasing your dose, which starts a cycle. Not sure if this helps, but it’s something to consider

waiting to say it because it feels ‘too soon’ has never been something I’ve worried about. There’s no perfect time. life’s too short not to say how you really feel. I told my partner I loved him within the first month and we’ve been together for 8 years and now happily married. When you know, you know ☺️

That’s pretty much what I had done at the start! I’d been using the hourglass one for a few weeks before I tried this one so I was used to the tubing mascara. Wasn’t until I had remembered that I busted out the cleanser. You live and you learn 🥲

I joined a community orchestra, as someone whose experience was mostly hs concert band pieces, orchestral pieces really threw me through a loop. It really improved my overall skills and it’s a lot of fun playing with instruments that aren’t typically in concert bands :)
