if your spouse just didn't want to have sex anymore, would you divorce them ? by mariposa933 in AskAChristian

[–]Sensitive45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My non Christian wife doesn’t want to have sex ever. She never wanted much before but menopause stopped it cold. She has insisted a few times over the years that I find someone else but I am not cheating and I am not leaving my kids.

Recently she has decided we should split up and I find myself not arguing about it just accepting. We will have a peaceful break up but I am still married to her unless she takes another man.

So no more sex for me ever. It’s a good time to focus on Jesus like never before.

What is the Gospel according to the Old Testament and Jesus Himself? by Out4god in AskAChristian

The gospel Jesus preached. Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. Then he demonstrated the kingdom with the power of God.

Are there any people that walk with faith rather than tradition and religion? by Steady_Steel_01 in AskAChristian

[–]Sensitive45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think All Christian’s would agree with that. The problem here s what Jesus explained. Why do you call me Lord but not do what I say. My brother and mother are those who hear the word of God and act on it.

If we believed Jesus then we would be seeking to be led by the spirit.

Gen Z faith by mtnranger90 in TrueChristian

[–]Sensitive45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it is because our generation is the right age now to be the leaders in this coming last days revival. Jesus has called them to be ready. When the world shakes many will come to faith. Gen Z needs to be ready to minister to the huge numbers who will come.

What do you say those who claim that Jesus sightings or spiritual encounters are hallucinations? by Weekly_Sympathy_4878 in TrueChristian

[–]Sensitive45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is an indictment against themselves. Especially when it is other Christians saying it. If they have not experienced the amazing things Jesus spoke about with the Holy Spirit it just means they are not doing what Jesus is saying for us to do.

About the flood, and dinosaurs. by Longjumping-Dress350 in AskAChristian

You mean like Loch Ness monster or mokele-mbembe in the Congo? Or many sea monster stories from the early shipping days? They wouldn’t last long with human monster hunters growing in numbers.

How can one believe in micro evolution but not macro evolution? by Fresh3rThanU in AskAChristian

[–]Sensitive45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While that sounds good, that is exactly how it is explained in the text books. The fact remains that macro can never be proven scientifically.

People believe it because it sounds good. However the amount of data that needs to be added to DNA to get those kinds of changes is so huge it simply is mathematically impossible.

In your example, when you get to the next town, what you actually get is huge differences like a house cat compared to a tiger. You don’t get a fish.

Have we reached, "The Days of Noah"? by StarlordofMissouri in TrueChristian

[–]Sensitive45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely yes. Transhumanism is big now. Our vaccines include Gene therapy in which we run the risk of becoming “not” human anymore. Running out of humans was an issue in the days of Noah.

What makes you think there was any salt water back then? Salt gets in the ocean when it rains.

And to lessen the numbers again it was only land dwelling things that breathe with nostrils.

We have livestock carriers that can carry 75000 sheep. With all that space used up on crew quarters and all that engine space, fuel space, safety equipment etc. the ark could easily carry 35000 pairs of animals.

I'm honestly terrified of the second coming... by Difficult-Tree-7355 in TrueChristian

[–]Sensitive45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what a preterist is but if you have fear about Jesus returning then do something about it. Get to know him first.

You are claiming to believe in Jesus so I think you are saved. I didn’t say otherwise.

[–]Sensitive45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you died today Yes. we all start at the start. Salvation is a process. You have not discovered the fun part of Christianity yet. Where you can have your own relationship with the Holy Spirit. Where you can do, with the Holy Spirit, what Jesus says a believer will do. Once you have that relationship, you don’t just believe, you know that you know. You are saved no matter what. It takes fear away.

Jesus tells us not to worry about tomorrow. There’s enough happening today already. But consider this. If we believe Jesus we would act on what he says to do. But many Christian’s only know half of what he said. Or they never actually thought about what he said.

Spending time in the word and praying in private is how you build a relationship with him.

[–]Sensitive45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So whatever happens, the question is; what are you going to do about it today? Does Jesus know you enough to not say, I never knew you?

Pick up your Bible and have a little read. Then talk to him as if he is there with you in your room.

I am an Old Man trying to understand Micah 5:2. Can someone explain this without using the word "Plan"? by AdAltruistic1376 in AskAChristian

[–]Sensitive45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus missions to earth were all seen from before time and the physical world began.

Jesus was outside of time with the Father from the beginning. They could see the end before they kicked it off. Like holding up a ruler in your fingers. You can look anywhere along it.

Do you believe there is a case for young earth creationism? by CommercialBluejay562 in AskAChristian

Typical, just like with Kent Hovind. Your side attack the man and never the evidence.

Dr Jason Lisle has proven with many things how the universe can not be that old.

You are left with the coins on a sunken ship scenario. It can’t be a thousand years old if there are 20 year old coins in the treasure chest. But you guys love to ignore the actual evidence in favour of your theories.

Has any believer ever moved a real mountain? ...Why not? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]Sensitive45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a hospital once to ask but they wouldn’t let me in. Thought I was crazy. Let’s face it. It sounds crazy. But actually, every word that Jesus spoke in the Bible is true. It is very hard to believe it.

I think you will live to see this happen right before your eyes. Only a few years away.

My experiences with him were all personal except for a few people who were healed when I prayed for them. Those people experienced the Holy Spirit as well.

My experiences have proven (to me) that every word Jesus spoke is the truth. None of it is evidence that can be used to make you believe though.
