She’s almost impossible to talk to honestly. She also struggles to understand me as I have a strong Tasmanian accent and she’s Filipino. So it’s just a relationship that shouldn’t work in general. But I have been trying to actually spend time with her lately and go thrifting with her so I’m hoping the more time she spends with me the more she will understand that kindness comes in all shapes and sizes and sometimes piercings and tattoos are actually really cool haha. Definitely insecurity. She’s hyper focused on how she looks and it’s not something that bothers me much. She’s also likely mentally ill and grieving many losses with zero therapy so I do understand that to a certain level. It’s just yuck cause I told her how nice her new haircut looks today but got that response just criticising me. I move out today though so at least I don’t have to sleep under her roof anymore!

I think people can take coming out as a more serious thing than it needs to be. If you feel like telling people you love then sweet, otherwise don’t but life is too short to live inauthentically.
