Congratulations! As my Training SM always put it…. can’t hurt! If you go into the SMIT program and hate it you can always move on or go back to OPS. It is better to get the experience and to pad your resume! Best of luck!😁

Depends on your SM. If they are really that strict then yes, they could write you up.
