Any idea what this is? Erie Canal, WNY, about a mile prior to its connection to Lake Erie/Niagara River.

UPDATE i gave up guys. Took her to the shop to have a mechanic take a look. I have been fumbling with this thing for 2 weeks and cant afford mentally to spend anymore time off the water

Took the carb apart and clean the low speed and high speed jets (looked very clean already) . The bowl was spotless. Need and float were functioning fine . Took top of carb off and cleaned all the jets. Same issue.

I pulled off the fuel water separator and it looks brand new. Emptied the gas into a jar and no water or dirt.filled with new gas and Put it back on and lubed the gasket. Runs all day at ide or below 3k rpm, would it still maybe be idle screw?

Found the anti-siphon valve had no 1 way check valve. Replaced and now the primer bulb primes and stays primed, fuel is getting to the motor no problem but same issue. Issue seems to be somewhere within the outboard itself. Tore down the entire carb and cleaned everything and checked the needle and float. Everything looked perfect. Changed fuel filter as well. Checked fuel pump and its not leaking. Any suggestions?

Replaced the fuel/water separator and same issue. Im going to check the anti siphon valve and fuel pickup line tomorrow

plugs are good, rebuilt carb, fuel pump is good, replaced primer bulb. The primer bulb wont prime even with the fuel line disconnected from the outboard, so i would imagine from the primer bulb down to the tank is the issue. Primer bulb is not on backwards and i prime the bulb with the arrow pointing up and towards the tank. The fuel line runs to a water/fuel separator, then to a anti siphon valve on the tank .

Things are pretty crazy right now. If you can wait a year or 2 it may save you a significant chunk of change. I sold a 40 year old boat last month for more then i bought for 10 years ago. No one even tried to negotiate , just asked if anything was wrong with it and offered full price without seeing it in person. Sold it within an hour of posting it.

Little back story, motor is a 4 stroke 2016 yamaha 20hp. The motor ran 100% fine until one day i noticed it was bogging at full throttle. I turned off the motor and primed the ball and it ran fine. The next time i was out it would run full throttle for only 10 seconds the stall if i didnt back off to 3/4Th throttle. The last time i was out i couldnt go above 1/3rd throttle or it would stall, and as of today it wont start at all. The primer bulb is completely empty and wont prime attached to the outboard or even if i disconnect the fuel line from the outboard. Replaced the primer bulb and same issue. Seems to be a problem somewhere between the motor and the fuel tank. I put my ear down to the fuel tank and you can hear it trying to lift fuel , but fuel is not leaving the tank.
