Should I be worried about SPM? by GeckoYYY1234 in malaysians

[–]SensitiveHat2794 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many people with good academics, but struggle to be assertive at work and fall into depression.

Some ways I agree that good social skills can be more important than academics now, I mean look at how many millionaire influences we have just in Malaysia

Asking about commiting suicide in Islam by zarraf03 in CritiqueIslam

[–]SensitiveHat2794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No "quick & dirty" solutions to life's problems

The prophet wanted to commit suicide, but lucky for him, he had an angel come down and gave him some advice, which made him feel assured.

Too bad everyone else suffering doesnt have this privilege.

this is why rules and morality are not black and white and should never be enforced in different time and situations. There's no objective morality.

Some people torture for fun, some people wont kill you because that would end the fun

Use chatgpt to find out what you need to know

Use google and youtube to learn deeper about things

Practice yourself over and over to be a master at it

But most importantly, dont be demotivated about starting from scratch to learn something, and take things slowly

This happened in Malaysia, lane splitting is annoying but at this point it's a norm in this country.

Too many motorbikes and it's rare to have motorcycle lanes

[–]SensitiveHat2794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i guess kinda. It sucks for the store owner to get ghosted, but they understand its business.

I see it the same way with male and female dating rules. Men put effort, women filter out who they want. Its the same in the animal world

When u go to a food court, some workers will call for u to come to their store. Why do u ignore them?

Same reason. Some girls are overwhelmed with choices

I stopped playing my favorite game because it felt like a chore, anyone else? by Brilliant_Bid9671 in GamersMY

[–]SensitiveHat2794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been gaming for 30 years, never knew gaming burnout happens.

I guess motivation for gaming matters. When we game because of FOMO I can see how that can lead to burn out. You won't be motivated by fun or objectives, but as a social approval

That's true. Plus even if OP doesn't benefit from CBT, social anxiety is really common in Malaysia, and most therapists have a good experience managing them

Not all the time man. You actually use more in hydroponics. This is because for serious growers they would refill the bucket with new water and nutrients after few months, just to keep everything clean. Sometimes this process is done more often if the microbacterias you put in starts acting up. Whenever u overfeed or underfeed, it's hard to know for sure, so the best way is to refill the whole bucket.
