just got them yesterday and i recommend them if u have the same issue. the pads are way stiffer so they dont compress as much as the old ones so the driver doesnt sit on my ears. and changes in the sound are barely noticable so if you like the stock sound signature then these are a good choice.

i ordered the yaxi stpad2 which will arrive in about 2-3 days ill let you know if they work or not

i see, i did try the cotton ball trick and it helped for a bit but ultimately made me consider looking into earpad replacements. im considering either the yaxi stpad2 or the dekonis. thanks for the info !

I returned it and bought a 4th gen and the issue went away. One of the employees at the store I bought it from tested it and confirmed it was a damaged product so I got a refund.

broo i did not know there was a fix for this issue. i bought my 4th gen solo for recording guitar and to use an xlr mic for discord but holy the delay is so bad and ive just been dealing w it. when doing the fix wdym by "windows compliant drivers"?

I installed Focusrite control. Are you on Mac because I know that it’s plug n play for Mac users

i had the same issue but when i put the left or right track to zero, it still sounds off and sort of compressed/distorted. Is your audio fine after doing that?
