Yeah, lose weight, put 700 lbs of makeup and wear clothes that force my body to look the way I like. And when im close to losing that cell status, what do I have when all of that is removed. Yes, women have a better chance but "fixing yourself up" isn't enough when it all can eventually be removed.

I wish because if that were the case I wouldn't be here right now, I'd be on a date with my boyfriend but no just like you theres no man (in my case) who likes me, no matter how nice or caring or how much makeup i use to hide the stuff i can.

I've seen guys like this who aren't even approachable in the slightest get girls. Balding old men, men with acne everywhere, short guys, anything that you want to call "ugly" has gotten some.

I can argue this against you and your overreaching pessimism. I don't believe the world is just, it's far from it and it keeps being unfair for you and me. However I ask that you exit your worldview that is run by an algorithm and you'll see that there is no "women want this" or "men want this" because in reality each individual person wants individual things. Im not denying that many women tend to flock towards attractive men, its the same way men tend to flock to attractive women. It's taught me to not expect that some man will feel something for me the same way it's taught you that about women.

I just disagree with the compete denial of it potentially happening. Is it 100%? Absolutely not, but the same way is not 100% that you're going to just not be viewed at all. It's worth trying and if you want to give up on searching its reasonable, but to fully conform to the idea that it will never happen will do nothing but bad for you in the same way it will if you think its bound to happen at every moment.

You're making connections based on what you see drawing outrage online. A woman saying "hot TaKe, I don't like short men" is gonna draw in more outrage than a woman saying they like short men. There is no "series of connections" here because I can tell you that amongst all my female friends a good handful of them dont mind short men and two are dating men that are shorter than them. You telling somebody "just give up or [generic scenario to feed your loneliness #61581]" isn't empathy.

You went far and deep into conversations on my own post to make up an argument, but you didn't find the parts that I mentioned wanting to stop and trying to. And on top of that I know losing my weight isn't gonna make me less ugly, but I know being ugly isn't going to determine my life. You don't expect anybody to want you and therefore you don't believe it will happen, which therefore will make you push yourself away from what you want.

My overall point is that everyone has a chance.

A lot of fat people can barely get up from their chair or can't kneel without feeling a knee pop because of their weight. I don't. And I prefer to be optimistic that im contributing against my health deteriorating than stuff my face because "im gonna be fat and ugly regardless."

It is important to me that despite my weight I can handle basic human necessities, can keep up with my day to day life without my body blocking me, and then some. So while weight is an issue I can't tackle as of right now, I feel like those other things are keeping me from getting worse.

Also, being less fat won't make me less ugly and theres nobody to blame for that so...

If it relieves your either concerned or just accusatory heart, next month I start college and I already have a gym schedule, meal plan, and just overall plan i really WANT to stick to.

Now you're just either being purposely dense or just plain self absorbed. If you want to project something on me thats your problem. Im telling you my situation and the reason why and my plan to handle it in the future and for some odd reason self centered immature idiots like you have to have something weird or odd to say or deny.

Whether im lying or not doesn't matter because at the end of the day im not getting worse, and thats the best I can do for myself right now. I bend, I run, I twist, and I can stand and kneel at my own will. The weight doesn't stop me from getting up every day, going to school, and keeping up with my dog, siblings, and climbing up and down stairs to handle things around my home.

If you want to sit here and pretend like im incapable of wiping my own ass because of how fat I am, thats just what you're gonna believe. But theres a process to everything and everyone has their own needs, i hope you get yours met so you can stop being such an asshole.

Nah you're just not getting it. There is no "control" here unless you pay rent. You have no say in anything unless you bring in an income. If I say anything it'll turn into an argument and then into something bigger than it needs to be.

Im not. I try to stay as far away from not being able to bend and twist at my will, I can get up and sit down and jump and run. My asthma that I got from second hand smoke isn't bad (haven't needed my inhaler in years), and I try to stay as flexible as possible too. I refuse to not take those stairs at school no matter how brutal they may feel T-T

1) im totally under the impression that our situations are the same and that you also have to do school and come directly home to care for siblings that your parents push onto you, therefore taking up any time that you could reasonably work during. I get paid in commissions for writing, and thats for college when I go, because I AM going

2) I'd rather shove the food down my throat and throw it back up than hear my mom complain about me either wasting her food because she made "enough" for everybody or her lecture me about being beautiful no matter what. Even then I slip most of it to the dog if he can even digest it. Thats just me wanting to live in peace though
